Kindergarten Teacher by day, Adult film star by night fired from her teaching job

A new week is upon us my tin foil brothers and sisters! Here's an interesting topic for some water cooler talk this week...

A 21 year old Kindergarten Teacher was fired after it was revealed she was moonlighting as a porn star! Not only that, but the School she was employed by, was a "Christian" School!

There's a lot of things in this article that make this an easy situation to find yourself on both sides of the fence.
She kept the part-time job on the low down, and never made it known to any co-workers.
Then you can counter with the bad role model argument.
You may also use the, "Kindergarten aged children SHOULD NOT have the slightest clue as to what an Adult Film is..." rebuttal.
I dont think I could argue either side successfully on this topic. Its definitely a subject to be handled by master debators. (Rim shot)😉

So how do my fellow think-aholics feel about this?
Fire her? Or let her live her life how she wants?

A Christian kindergarten school teacher was fired for refusing to give up her side job as a $2,500-a-time porn star.

Nina Skye, 21, declared 'I love teaching, I love sex' before a showdown with shocked bosses who confronted her over appearances in films with titles including Amateur Allure and Swallow Salon.

The auburn-haired beauty, who romps with men and women in the videos, said she was a 'really good teacher' and did not see why her hobby should bar her from the classroom.
But senior teachers at the unidentified pre-school thought differently, and said her profession went against the religious values they espoused.

Having sex was her dream job, Ms Skye said, and she was very reluctant to leave the industry.

She told Fox: 'It goes against their views of fornication, like sex before marriage and that's what I'm doing.

'They say it goes against the paper I signed, saying I wouldn't do that.

'They were really trying to pull me away from staying in the industry. They just really wanted me out. They offered help and advice, but I don't really want out.'

Ms Skye said she liked having an open-minded outlook, adding: 'I love teaching and sex. If I can get away with doing both, then I will.

'It's easy money. For my very first scene, I just did a regular boy on girl and I got paid $2,500 on the spot.

'I never had that much money, ever, just handed to me in my life.
'There's a really big stigma associated with it, and how our society views it.

'But that's not how I am. I'm really open-minded. Super open-minded and not judgmental.'

For me, the biggest question is how did they find out?!?!
Seems that this 'Christian' teaching staff has been watching a few movies to many!

For me, it comes down to here saying she signed an agreement stating she wouldn't do it. She stated if she could get away with both. She didn't so I don't see her beef.
It doesn't bother me personally but, if you sign an agreement then it's on you in my opinioon.

As long as she doesn't expose her students to her part time job and teaches with dedication and integrity then it shouldn't matter, also we are talking about what, 5 year olds? if this was high school or something then sure, someone would probably find out, spread rumours and that can damage the image of the school, but 5 year olds should not have the means to access that type of information (i hope at least)
and on the other hand, the school has every legal right to terminate her contract.
you should know that there is a lot of prejudice about porn stars, how do you expect that would even go down especially in a christian type school?

If this was a public school, I don't think they'd have grounds to fire her. (I could be wrong, but that is my non-legal expert opinion) But at a private Christian school, a requirement for the job is be a Christian and to be living a life that reflects Christian morals. She said herself that she had to sign a contract upon getting hired agreeing that she wouldn't do such things. She broke the contract. She should be fired.

It actually sounds like the school was very kind and gracious in their approach, that they tried to encourage her and help her get out of the industry. But she refused, so they fired her.

She might be having a lot of fun right now, but the odds unfortunately overwhelmingly against her in the long run. She is going down a bad path. I hope she considers changing her path.

Private school.
They can fire her if they wish.
She likely had to agree to a code of ethics before being hired that this behavior surely violated.

Thanks! I put most of my morning brain power in to that one!

The woman stated that she just loved teaching. Perhaps she might become a symbol for better pay/benefits for teachers everywhere...
That would get some attention in the senate. It would probably go something like this...

Teacher: "My salary as a teacher was so low, I had to take a second job to make ends meet"

Senator: "Can you clarify the statement, 'second job'?"

Teacher: "I took a part time job staring in fims. With my film money and my teaching money, I was able to live comfortably"

Senator: "And what kind of films were you staring in?"

Teacher: "Ummm... They were.... Uhhhh.... Adult films..."

Senator: "And do you have any of these 'adult films' with you at this hearing?"

Teacher: "Ummmm.... Yes senator. I do..."

Senator: " We are now going to adjourn this hearing until the films in question can be reviewed by this committee..."

2 days later...

Senator: "This committee has determined that terminating your employment was unlawful. I shall now sign an order demanding you be re-instated."
"Let me clarify, I will be signing this order by proxy, on account of an injury I sustained on my writing hand... when....uh...... i was skiing and fell...."

Figured I'd recognize her, but I don't recall seeing any of her work.

School should be happy, I'm sure PTA nights would have set record attendance.

If I made the rules, I'd let her get on with it.

But, I don't make the rules, and it's the school's prerogative to let her go if they deem it detrimental to the school's reputation.

I think it's ridiculous, to be honest, but you've gotta respect the rules you signed up to.

Evidently the school thought she was better at the adult film job then her teaching job. I bet they will all will be buying her movies. Gee, we never had teachers like that when I went to school, I am jealous.

In that "Churchian" environment, one of the worst sins is unrepressed sexuality combined with repressed desire.

Which school administrator 'happened' to recognize her, or was it just a guaranteed criminal accusation?

I'd like to review any 'evidence'.

If this was a public school, they would've slapped her... name up on the marquee and given her a promotion.

Seeing she loves teaching,she should find a job teaching somewhere other than a Christian school,is about the only advice I could give her.No reason she cannot do both.Lots of teachers,male and female,are total sluts in their private lives anyway,and they give it up for free to any and all that takes their fancy,I fail to see much of a difference between them and her.

Don't you need a Masters to teach? Of course some people accomplish that early, but at 21 I'm a little skeptical why she went into teaching and porn... If you can bang out (sorry) a 6 year degree 3 years early you're probably a very smart cookie. The kind of cookie that doesn't need to do porn for extra money.

It's a Christian school, I'm fine with them firing people who don't meet their standards. You sign a contract when you get a job teaching at one of those schools, don't like it don't sign it. I'm actually impressed they seemed to give her a chance to quit the porn.
