Must be quite a whale to get flown in. I guess the 10 minutes I spend at the nickel slots doesn't rate

About 10 days ago someone posted that they caught the E-4B that has been in PDM on the ramp waiting for paint. It might have been an FCF.

Like a check flight while waiting to be painted? Whats the total time to paint that sucker? 2-3 days?

E2 off the coast of SoCal

10 P-8 up
very few out over the ocean though

2 JSATRS up on identical courses seems to be headed to Georgia

and the E-4B is up again SOUP12 at FL32 but not showing on the map. However, its confined to the southeast 1/4 of the US

Yeah, Functional Check Flight. They do everything from shut the engines down and restart them in flight, to running all the commo gear.

Anywhere from 3 days to a week, depending on demands on the paint shop. They probably painted it first, because having it painted would help to highlight any leaks during the FCF.

An OC-135 Open Skies aircraft is up somewhere in the Western US (Cn't seem to pin it down) and a Qatar 747-8 BBJ is cruising over OK, and looks headed to Arizona or New Mexico or some point close

Finally the OC-135 is up over Colorado

I wondered who that one went to. My money was on Kuwait, not Qatar.

Currently watching it and viewing 3 ,planes over the UK roughly over the Scots boarder. Callsigns DELUGE62 DELUGE63 AND DELUGE64. all 3 have transitioned over the north sea after what looks like a meet and greet with a K35R, callsign QID101.

Point is the 3 aircraft callsign DELUGE has no information displayed. Not even the airforce they belong to. Now a fourth DELUGE61 is hanging off the East coast of the UK

Deluge has previously been used by GR4s. Most likely that's what they are this time.

They are showing as being German Air Force. And probably using Deluge callsign due to the amount of bloody rain we have here !!
