Of course not, how will that prevent the release of chemicals that bind to Ozone or trap longer wavelength infra-red?

By any measure, there have been far more severe and catastrophic climactic shifts on this planet long before the Dawn of Man. What caused them? Humans weren't around...

Meteor and cometary impacts, changes in the Earth's rates of vulcanism, low Solar activity, and the spread, or die-back, of biological cover of the Earth and oceans. These things have caused the larger climatic shifts in the past. We have some good science that says that climate changes have occurred and we have reasonable links to identifying the causes.

Sure, there are cycles in climate, but we can look back in time and see the depth and duration of those cycles, impressed upon geology, fossils and even in the records of the growth rings of living trees. What is plain is that Ozone is now being depleted by chlorofluorocarbons and that the burning of fossil fuels is releasing far more greenhouse gasses now than nature could possibly release through its normal processes of decomposition and digestion. This is unprecedented.

There is no scientific disagreement about these facts. Those who deny the facts of climate change may profit from their opposition, but those who admit our responsibility face greater costs and cannot make some short-term gain from promoting the truth.

If you suggest that it's "all about the money", then you need to ask yourself how these individuals could possibly profit (apart from notoriety) from warnings about human caused climate change.

The fact is, all human activity on Earth could cease tomorrow and the climate would still "change" as it has cyclically for billions of years.

The truth is that chemistry and physics tells us what happens when these chemicals interact. There is nothing speculative at all about it.

Humans have measurably caused climate change in micro and macro ecologies. We have created dust-bowls and deserts, have dammed rivers and even reversed desertification with irrigation. Right now, we are releasing gasses that unequivocally deplete the Ozone layer and others which are greenhouse gasses. That IS happening.

Only leftists who love the idea of dragging advanced countries -- especially the United States, down to the level of developing countries support the loony Paris Climate Scam.

The only countries not participating in the Paris Climate Accord are the US, Syria and Nicaragua. All other countries in the world are participating. Your suggestion that it is somehow a "leftist" thing is utter tripe!

Pelosi claims to be a Catholic. According to the Bible, God, when He created man, put him in the garden to tend it. Not tending the garden (this world, into which mankind was placed) would probably be dishonouring to the God who allocated the task, wouldn't it?

Of course Pelosi also may well have been referring to the fact that the Pope gave Trump an encyclical on environmental preservation on May 24 and 20 days later it looks like Trump has decided to trash the document. .

Bad analogy. Most rapes are men on women, removing women would likewise remove the problem. You can remove all non muslims and they will still be like this against each other.
