Confirmed -- Kathy Griffin has Retained a Criminal Lawyer

Kathy's press conference today revealed that she has a Civil Rights Lawyer.

The Civil Rights Lawyer confirmed Kathy is apparently under investigation.

And, she has retained a Criminal Attorney !!

Things getting serious all-of-a-sudden !!

Comedian Kathy Griffin contacted by Secret Service after Trump photo, civil rights lawyer says

The U.S. Secret Service has contacted Kathy Griffin after the comedian posted and then removed a gruesome photo depicting President Donald Trump, civil rights attorney Lisa Bloom said on Griffin's behalf during a press conference earlier on Friday.

Griffin posed with a replica of a severed and bloodied head that resembled President Donald Trump.

Kathy has retained criminal attorney Dmitry Gorin to represent her, Bloom said.

Now she is attacking people because they responded.

My two cents.....

1) I have to admit my bias against this woman because from years and years ago, from whenever I first saw her on the television screen, I found her equally obnoxious and unfunny.

2) CNN has a New Year's Eve show? Of all the people that stay home on New Years Eve (such as my family).... Who in the hell watches CNN?!?!?!?

3) I still haven't been able to find out where the "humor" was supposed to be in her little video.

4) (I heard this from someone else but I found it priceless)..... Why isn't her mimicking ISIS considered Cultural Appropriation?

5) Here is where I get a bit conflicted. On the one hand, I don't think that this stupid broad meant her little shtick as a direct threat.... but because of what she (and other celebrities) have said and how they have reacted to Trump... I'm not entirely sure she would be against someone who would try to kill President Trump.

6) It's been a very long time since I've seen such fake, phony, "alligator tears" prior to her little display.

7) Trump "broke her"...? Trump made her go out there and make that stupid video? I suppose if the exact opposite happened, and a semi-prominent media person enacted her decapitation.... she would just laugh it off?

8) Pretend you didn't know who she was. Pretend you didn't know who Donald Trump was. Pretend that someone just sat you down and showed you that video. What would you think? Would you find it funny? Would you find it creepy and or threatening?

9) I'm sincerely not sure whether or not I would bother with the time and energy to prosecute this stupid girl. That being said... considering she LITERALLY took a page from the ISIS intimidation handbook... there is no doubt in my non-legal-scholar-mind that a crime was absolutely committed.

10) Although I doubt it, and because of my #1 on this thread.... if this really is the end of her career.... Thank God for small blessings.

So when pictures of someone holding Obama's severed head were posted, the Secret Service didn't investigate? I think they did. I think it's pretty much their policy to investigate all of this kind of thing, no matter how "famous" the person in the photo is.
