i came up in the 80's. watched beat street a thousand times. i still hit up youtube and watch clips.

the rock steady crew were the # back in the day.

a lot of them are still around. crazy legs still runs the crew i think. they seem to have it together too. they take members as young as junior high i think but they have to maintain an A average in school. i like that.
theyre not like some thug crew. im sure there are some that exist but whatever.

look at these dudes though

they are wild man....

yes we are.
i do miss the golden age of hip hop. i am a huge fan of that era of rap. i still love it to this day even though i lean towards jazz and progressive, frank zappa type stuff.
the golden age stuff has a special place with me.

anything post biggie save for a few jay z joints and random stuff i dont care for.

i know this aint the music forum but now you got me thinking about it.

ever hear a roller skating jam named saturday?

thats what im talking about.

Good call on B-Boy Junior. One of my favourite battles was him and Darkness from years ago. He does a move at 1:34 that should have physicists scratching their heads.

Memory says there's a much better copy out there. This will have to do.
