The gov works in mysterious ways. Who cares as long as it does, right?
I just recently grasped that "digitalisation" is such a hot topic because it's not a thing yet. "Here we see the ordinary paper-tiger hidden behind a mountain of files..."

I just checked and you might be right it's a one time thing. Wow that seems ... not enough.

"as long as it works."

My sleep schedule is so messed up. I think I slept like 3 hours like 2pm to 5pm.. which means ive been awake almost 16 hours and the sun just came up an hour ago.

David Change New York times restaurant industry

Can you describe the state of things on your end right now?

We’re still trying to sort that out. We made the decision to close our restaurants before it was mandated, and we’re currently in the process of trying to figure out the best way to help our employees.1 I’m not being hyperbolic in any way: Without government intervention, there will be no service industry whatsoever. There’s so many people that work for me whom I am incredibly concerned about. Where are they going to get their next meal? Do they have health care coverage? How are they going to pay their bills? But this is the way I’ve been weirdly internalizing it: It’s as if aliens came from outer space and decided to totally destroy restaurants. I wouldn’t be like, I can’t believe I didn’t see this coming. In some way coronavirus is an invisible enemy that we could not have anticipated. No one could have.

I just had a nice nap. After a stressful morning where I had to stand in line just to get tea.

Now I'm thinking it's saturday and before I start my detox week I should totally get Baileys. Another thing I'm doing since this lockdown started and we're technically only allowed outside to buy groceries, I'm doing it twice per day at a shop a little further away than I'd have to.

Pretty weird nobody saw it coming. Has nobody ever played Pandemic? I did, let me handle this

Of course people saw it coming.
You know thats not the name of the game.
To actually look ahead as a society.
It's more selfish than that.

coronavirus is just a group name really.
think
SARS and MERS

Coronaviruses are enveloped RNA viruses that cause respiratory illnesses of varying severity from the common cold to fatal pneumonia.
Numerous coronaviruses, first discovered in domestic poultry in the 1930s, cause respiratory, gastrointestinal, liver, and neurologic diseases in animals. Only 7 coronaviruses are known to cause disease in humans.

Four of the 7 coronaviruses most frequently cause symptoms of the common cold. Coronaviruses 229E and OC43 cause the common cold; the serotypes NL63 and HUK1 have also been associated with the common cold. Rarely, severe lower respiratory tract infections, including pneumonia, can occur, primarily in infants, older people, and the immunocompromised.

Three of the 7 coronaviruses cause much more severe, and sometimes fatal, respiratory infections in humans than other coronaviruses and have caused major outbreaks of deadly pneumonia in the 21st century:

SARS-CoV2 is a novel coronavirus identified as the cause of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) that began in Wuhan, China in late 2019 and spread worldwide.

MERS-CoV was identified in 2012 as the cause of Middle East respiratory syndrome (MERS).

SARS-CoV was identified in 2002 as the cause of an outbreak of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS).

This version is not as deadly, its just way more infectious than than the others.

H1N1 was a pandemic, what was that like 2009?? not corona like the others.

so we had like 2003, 2009, 2012... 2019..

"bird flu"
"swine flu"
"camel flu"
"bat flu?"

Just go down the list.

2020 is the year of the RAT how fitting.
Maybe we can get the plague next.

One of Joe Rogans recent guests literally wrote how this would start and play out.

When too many deer overpopulate an area they get sick..
factory farmed animals are pumped up with antibiotics..
humans are animals too.
we just dont have predators.
we are farmed though for our time/labor =transferable wealth. I mean to say we farm each other.

I have been living like a wolf my whole life. I always saw the fragility. I never wanted a part in all of this. Well, like it or not youre stuck with me cause its the only game in town and society is too big to fail. Of course I quite like being domesticated. Can you believe theres hundreds of people melting and forming and rolling aluminum, and people growing barley and hopps.. and people fermenting that and refrigerator dudes and truckers they put it all together just for ME a cold beer that costs almost nothing.

thats some amazing magic.
the old way isnt viable at current population levels.
so like it or not
we're playing ball.

it just goes back to kilgore talking about helping each other or not. When Ive talked to other Wolves it used to frustate me so much. "humans can unite whenever they want." I was infuriated because it was never a fair game..
but over time I say its all fair game in nature. I get it.. sheeps get eaten or at the very least sheered. Being a good wolf is like odd. Sometimes empathetic... Sometimes..

I wouldn't.

I'm embarrassed enough that even sometimes vocalizations influence others.

ever notice when someone copies you subconsciously? I could manipulate people so easy. I don't like this input output system of the "wiring of the brain" its too slow.. its overloaded its hacked.

All of it is just uncomfortable to me.
Like I don't want any power.
It's weird enough I'm keeping trillions of cells alive as me.

I would choose to put less of my stats in intelligence on my next playthrough if the server doesnt crash. Intelligence is the wrong word, Awareness.. too much. you can't unsee.

Still thats just my issue. I'm just too human.

so no there are enough thoughts in peoples heads and in general i want nothing to do with that. but expand that inner sunshine. im ok with that.

I had no idea of the powers of spermidine, you have truly enlightened me. Pity it should be stuck with the name, just because it was first discovered in human sperm. Anyway, yeah, I think I need some of that. Lots of that.

The pressure on some people, as this demonstrates, must be enormous. I suspect his 'reasoning' was more complex, or that there were other straws weighing on his back, but who knows, as I said, the pressure must be enormous on leaders and decision makers at this time. They, perhaps, need to shift some of that, get some other professional help. It's very sad either way and hopefully leaders will now take measures to ensure that such individuals are coping with the situation and have the support that they need.

Money isn't real. It's a massive illusion. We can just get everything done, everyone through this and then start a new balance sheet, everyone with a clean slate, a fresh start. Gold isn't scarce and it doesn't feed anyone. It has no real value other than the one we ascribe to it. It is after all a fantasy we have built over the ages, why not make it a truly fantastical one. Put the world on an even keel. Nobody should have to be worrying about money right now, there is absolutely no shortage of it, it is just those that stem and direct it's flow.

If we can get rid of the imaginary problem of money we can perhaps better focus on the real problems.

My depression flared up.. It's always more than the last straw. I mean theres also a tired asz camel! So many straws that the hope of one good straw 2 months down the line may not be worth 10 bad straws constantly right now. For me I know that abiut me. So I use my "fvck it" gene in a positive manner.

But for me Its against the rules to not play the game. So for one or two or three days at the peak, Im allowed to do whatever I want. and by that time more regular thoughts are present.

I know myself so I tell people.

And Im still alive over 30 years after my first thoughts of not being here.

I just got home after walking for 6 hours. I met a dude looking for hard drogas. haha. New friend. Im like a sinner jesus. Ill give anyone smiles and goodwill. gave him a cig. and he insisted on buying it.. i tried to refuse. and then i had almost just the perfect amount to buy another drink. world is funny like that. and his day was brightened.

other than that everyone is gone. everyone is home.
I played a game called any store thats allowed to be open is one beer. and you finish before the next open place.

ha, it was four places open in a 10 mile walk. I think thats like what 15 or 16 kilometers?

The homless peeps are nowhere. not sure where they went.. I guess they cant ask for money. So maybe they found a place to stay and have food. I hope so.

I took some pictures. Besides what is going on, Nature is effing Gorgeous.

had to down res the image..

"...stealing to live" is probably the sadest postulation one can make. How's that possible, why's that a fact? People just shrug and buy a pistole... and nobody seems to be bothered by the perversion, no alarm bells, nothing.
I think it's a result of the false assumption people'd be responsible for their fate.
Like the (what's it called?) "wish and the universe will give" idiots. And if it didn't work you were wishing wrong. Just # off.

You get the blue bells earlier than we do here, we've only got one or two out in the church yard, a week or so and it'll look a lot like your picture, right now it's mostly daffodils.

My son and I went into the city centre yesterday, I've lived here most of my life and I have never seen it so quiet, not even in the middle of the night. I think the homeless have been put up in hotels, they're not in their usual spots, and that I believe was the plan. Nothing is 'normal', even the pigeons, crows and gulls have taken wing. There's no food litter for them to feed on so I presume they've gone to hang out at the land fills. It's super quiet without them squabbling all the time, although, as I just typed a blackbird gave a few tweets from the tree across the road, so perhaps it is just that I need to listen more keenly. It's just us humans in suspended animation, the rest of nature is doing just fine.

And Peeps has always been funny.

What Kily said, I am, always was and always will be crazy funny
It's you who hasn't been matured enough to realise that fact.
But I have to admit most of it is "Galgenhumor" (Boom? Mike Boom? Haha for real? Who the # was mike boom?) Gallows humour.

And I think I finally got the plague too, or a serious case of hypochondria. I'm tired, everything hurts, my head my shoulders and neck, I cough... Atypical is maybe the nausea.

Farewell schnöde Welt I hope I die before Söder(Bavaria1) makes me wear a face mask.
I just can't do it, I've always made fun of burkhas(?) and refuse to let hysteria and some messed up social dictate force me into hypocrisy.
I just won't go outside anymore until this #show is over.

I got tea with vitamine D, and plant lights for my herbs (real herbs Rosmarin and stuff) it will be okay...

Do the birds still sing?

The birds are singing here peeps.
I almost ran into a deer walking. She was like "WTF! how I not hear human!?" Sneaky verbs...
And I know you're funny. I was just being goofy.

When changes happen and you change something to fit the current things. if its needed its not hypocritical. If you didn't change you'd be dumb. Do you look good in a burka? Haha.. I'd look even more shady. I cant believe I see busses running. WTF? You can't get socially closer almost than that here. Well, no one is out, so hopefully those busses are empty.

I never ask for help.
now I ask for help.
That's not incongruent.
We are in bad times.

Anything too fragile melts away from history pretty fast. Over time things that are too rigid fall as well as time goes on. You can't survive on idealism.

Can you survive a bit of socialism, totalitarianism, instead?

Without being a hypocrit?

Sipping tea in a burka pic or it didnt happen!

oh, and you did NOT just call me mature.. Now I know you're crazy.

Here's my mature burka self.
