when i played that game kotor 2 is better btw force choking then flinging whomever off of cliffs was very satisfying. if one looks closely there is a connection in the halo and star wars universes.

Hes using language in an honest manner, scientific you know.

Up to 11 minutes in hes sort of describing relativity and absolute space... Hes hinting on that thing I say about reality and perception. I say I don't know what reality is supposed to mean anymore for one.

Scalewise if you drobbed a ball on the planet what is falling? The ball or the planet? What if you dropped a planet instead? Both planets are falling.. and in the first place the planet also falls at the ball. Do you hit the ground or does the ground hit you? Its all correct. Definitely something i try to stress a lot. You think as you do from your eyes mainly, in 3d space..

To unrelativity your thought process you have to reconsider what space even is..

I find words feel like an answer to people. If you can name it you can know it.
But I think its far harder and far more rewarding to understand with no name. A name is the end. "This is an atom." But it sort of dictates that an atom is not space. But what if they are manifestations of the same thing.. the words have created an artificial great expanse to cross to concieve even dimly that something could be nothing..

I think its more important to forget what you thought you knew from age 3, than it is to souly expand upon a foundation based in extreme lack of vision, subjective.. human knowledge is subjective even.. it takes sometimes hundreds of years to forget the old picture billiard balls or what have you to get to relativity..

People "know" too much to be able to learn much at all.

I got one too!

The EPiQC at Univ. of Chicago have a set of "user friendly" zines up on their site that try to explain some of the concepts and ideas surrounding Quantum Mechanics. Their little one on notation did wonders for me! It is not just some student writing this stuff up either, there are the people that actually created (and teach) QM at UoC. They are also teaming up with other institutions
and they are aimed for a general audience and not Junior or Senior level college students.

The quantum superposition picture is a perfect representation of what goes on in my head. The image being two at once and which is it?
The fact its an image and not words.
Then I try to write it out.... lol...

I had one earlier about maintaining a non assumption based information gathering stance..
The brain is like hallways each of varying thickness and distance... somone saus one word i n conversation you are lost down a hall. The hall has side doors but those side doors are in relation to the hallway.. to get to a new hallway isnt easy..
But to not walk down the hall on the first place is like trying to see the candle stick or vase and the two faces at the same time realizing its not one or the other or even both, but all of the above including neither..

I don't know if that made sense, but thats my mind reacting visually to a striking concept i often concieve of and explore without resting on an answer.

I in some past posts simplified what you are getting at as; "Neither either" it is the simplest form of a quantum block chain I can put into words. Quadratic equations have: super and sub positional qualities... X, Y, Z and the other hidden dimension reaches out and says: "Boop... got your nose!"

Here's the issue, the one point when grasped? Twists that "space time" like a portal opening and closing. The control of the force on the app is amazing, that's why I only played the first part, but it's really great.
There's something about the control of mobile devices that feels really futuristic to me. Swipe left, woosh...I wish one could control reality like that, or projection monitors/computers, that's the really cool side of Star Trek the technology.
But all the games are garbage, that's the true reason I like Star Wars better.

yeah you can throw a saber after the force choke hold before dropping them as it is that good balance wise in using them. The partnership with Nintendo as a release game is what made them smooth. Standards it's why so many people were Halo fans on it's release the biggest complaint with Sony is the herky jerky of the thumb sticks such a small window for smooth operation. Like how smooth lock picking needs to be to personally skill a master level one with novice levels and not shatter it smooth in the elder scrolls series... its the small things like that in refinement that can be so satisfying.

How many stop and smell the roses like that? I dunno but on release of those games, one has to think of the mental waves or sound record vibration of everyone reading those books on Dwemer archeology etc. at the same time in the millions...

He's on good form in there, Cox, and so is Rogan. Sometimes Cox is in high school teacher mode and wants to make those who don't think get into the wonders of space. This was closer to how he was on Infinite Monkey and fair play to Rogan for enabling a higher level of interview. He did a similarly good job with Krauss too.

Definitely. Cox used to be more black and white and, like others, he's more relaxed about highlighting what they don't know. He says we don't know if the universe is infinite and eternal, or had a beginning, which reminds me of Einstein's quote about alone/not alone and either state being equally mind boggling. That's not at all surprising. I remember that there were studies how it alters behaviour such as being late to appointments, taking more risks and so on. Maybe if they wouldn't lump everything and everybody into the big word schizophrenia but instead differntiate a little more they wouldn't have such a hard time to see what the little fellow is indeed up to in humans.
The Japanese do it a lot better.

Bad science...

It is actually an Arginine and cellular waste called lissome issue at fault through the Vasopressin receptor channel... it is caused by all of the keep food especially meats from rotting on the store shelves. Like mmm formaldehyde chicken, and pink slime patties.

The article itself is “gee! Bang! Whiz!” but the science is, as noted in article, tenuous at best (hair growing on your palms if you soil God’s gift!).

The topic shows up from time to time and I just noted one of those occasions. It was a drive by post to keep the ball rolling. Sorry if it derailed the conversation!

Study of the elements; is part of the 64 siddhas... or what get termed super/supra natural powers. The abuse of them means bleh hell realms as one is not aware of being a hungry ghost as their existence, under the delusion they are "human" so of course they weave webs in those two realms of illusion and delusion... to route around and around each of the six realms has a yin/yang bhavacakra of it's own, with of course those leading the way out of that realm of being, and into a better mode of it.

Much the same way they say "dolphins" will try to section off a female and pod her and rape her over and over again and then do the same with any calves she might birth and then of course leave her to die and of course kill and male calves out of the pool or pod.

Such a thing is an extremophile existence, can you see the "human" reflection in such things as gang bangs etc? Of course life being life? The names of "human and dolphin" are excuses where some can or know how to transform into various life forms and practice or participate in such behaviors.

So are they dolphin or human? That is one of the "neither either" sort of things that are duality based, such a being in animism etc used to not have names; it all just flowed and still of course does, those that use discrimination however they want to call knowledge? I had an Italian talking to me in Italian today, probably because I special up my food here with olives and artichokes. No io tedesco. Then he was slightly invading my personal space.
