When the constituent compared Trump’s words to Bill Clinton’s actions, Waters snapped, “I don’t care about Clinton! Listen, I’m going to work every day until I get him impeached.” “I’m going to work every day to make sure that he isn’t impeached and that you’re impeached,” the constituent said. “You can’t impeach a member of Congress!” Waters shot back. “No, you cannot impeach a woman of Congress,” she said again before her staff escorted her away from the woman. Earlier this month, LA street artist Sabo posted signs near Waters’ town hall meeting, calling for her impeachment:

There is a reason why treason in mentioned in the Constitution.

Section III, Article 3

Section 3.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

The Congress shall have power to declare the punishment of treason, but no attainder of treason shall work corruption of blood, or forfeiture except during the life of the person attainted.

People love to throw the "treason" word around because it sounds like you are serious. But the history of treason in this country is very interesting. It turns out the laws around treason are very arcane. Hardly anyone is ever charged with treason let alone convicted. It's practically a useless word because of our Constitution.

Do you mean like the way the entire GOP did during Obama's full 8 yrs in office, while refusing to admit that their sole justification for doing so was because he was black?

You're bound to remember, it was the party whose leader, (immediately after Obama's election) declared that their number one priority was to insure that Obama was a one term POTUS.

The very same party that opposed some of their own party's initiatives the moment that Obama even hinted at supporting them.

Maxine Waters has every right to ridicule Trump and yes, to even call for his impeachment, despite the fact that some of her constituents may have voted him.

Furthermore, when it comes to her personal assessment of Trump, she's entitled to that too.

What does that have to do with Trump? He wasn't even a politician until Jan. 20th. Maxine Waters has been calling for Trumps impeachment without one shred of evidence, since the day he became a politician. Really, I feel it's only because he is a major threat to her job, which is a drain on taxpayer dollars right now with her actions as of late. If she wants to hate on Trump and ask for impeachment, then she should retire herself with the loads of corruption that surround her. Also, her hate towards white people makes it hard to take her serious. She is a perfect example of needing term limits and way out of touch with ordinary Americans.

I'd like to see a list of accomplishments in the last couple years from Maxine. What is she doing for the people she supposedly represents? We all know she lives a pretty lavish life off those taxpayer dollars, but what is she doing to earn that living?
