No one will be spared. No man, no woman, no child. Islamic State do not surrender, do not retreat, so they will all be killed. Islamic State is classified as a terrorist organization, so there is no legal problems with doing this.

Islam is no longer a religion actually it never was, is a way of life like a cult from where terrorist organizations like cowards hide to commit heinous crimes against their own and the rest of humanity.

They have no room in modern society, their medieval ways are obsolete.

And BTW that is propaganda, I agree with should not leave any terrorist alive.

That protect the rest of the people that doesn't want to have anything to do with radicalized Islam and religion but can not get away from the claws of those that impose their will on others.

We that have nothing to do with radical Islam are becoming casualties of their insane religious views, when radical terrorist target children

Islamic State are full of cowards that using whole families as a shield against attacks. Few excerpts from the article you posted :

While holding local residents hostage and using them as human shields in Mosul is indeed a brutal, yet common tactic of Jihadist militants, several international human rights groups have also noted that the Iraqi forces themselves repeatedly told Mosul civilians to stay at homes in order to be “safer.”

And that resulted :

“They did not try to flee as the battle got underway because they received repeated instructions from the Iraqi authorities to remain in their homes,” a recent Amnesty International report said, citing survivors of the airstrikes which killed civilians.

“Evidence gathered on the ground in East Mosul points to an alarming pattern of US-led coalition airstrikes which have destroyed whole houses with entire families inside,” Amnesty International official Donatella Rovera said.

The real question is how you can handle a situation where when you try to leave, you get executed by ISIS, and when you stay in home you die from airstrikes ?
The loss of innocent life is always a tragedy.

Peace

The US’s highest military official made the comments during a CBS ‘Face the Nation’ program, where he spoke about “accelerating the tempo” of the anti-terrorist campaign and using “annihilation tactics” against Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL).

“We have already shifted from attrition tactics, where we shove them from one position to another in Iraq and Syria, to annihilation tactics where we surround them. Our intention is that the foreign fighters do not survive the fight to return home,” Mattis outlined.

“What about civilian casualties as a result of this faster tempo?” program host, John Dickerson asked.

“Civilian casualties are a fact of life in this sort of situation,” Mattis replied. He however insisted that the US military tries to “avoid civilian casualties at all costs,” doing “everything humanly possible consistent with military necessity.”

The way I see it you messed up IRAQ, Libya and are in the process of doing the same in Africa and Syria. A little late to fix things after all your international F***ups !

So will 'Trump' be able to after wrapping up that little project, 'be able' to de-tangle from the ordeals there (stop funding all of Obama & Hillary's Al Qaeda terrorists they deployed to overthrow the Libyan & Syrian governments) [and so on], will be the real measuring stick....

We've been bombing the crap out of ISIS for years now, and it's not having much effect.

How is Trump going to solve the problem? More bombs? Doesn't work.

That's quite a pro-US slant in there for RT. Did you notice it? Very pro-Mattis. The article endorses the actions and even plays down the 100+ civilians who were collaterally killed to get two snipers.

The article shows what the horror is all about too. Families being told to stay home by Iraq are then being bombed by coalition forces. Estimates of 3600+ civilians being killed in Syria and Iraq. If we consider the gut response to the Manchester bombing, thousands wanted us to torture and kill radical Muslims and send them 'back' to their families in body bags. We shouldn't act surprised or angry if people over there feel likewise, right? It's not an Islamic thing to hate those who kill civilians, it's a natural human thing and, thankfully, not acted upon by most.

I find myself agreeing with Mattis' points in there. This is how a military leader must view warfare.

Hugging and peace rallies don't work either. The ideology needs to change. It starts with the people practicing the ideology to demand change for the better.

No man, no woman, no child. Islamic State do not surrender, do not retreat, so they will all be killed.

Murdering women and children if anything it will only help ISIS to spread. The stupid people haven't figured that out yet. Besides what kind of low life excuse of a human thinks it's ok to kill kids.

And ISIS will use the same children to commit to their cause via suicide bombings and child soldiers. Either side doesn't bode well for children in the numbers game.

Annihilation Tactics

I like the sound of that.

I also like the sound of his view on civilian casualties. "A fact of life".

I KNOW all you liberals are ok with that phrase so don't start to trigger. Wasn't it the dearly loved Sadiq Khan who said the same thing about muslim attacks in European cities? To much left wing applause?

Annihilation Tactics.

This is gonna be awesome. Try not to get triggered.

Well according to those articles the civilians wont be spared ether. If we had brought our entire military capabilities to the fight right at the start less innocent civilians would have died. So I am glad we are fighting harder now. I just wish they would stop #ing around and end it already. The US with russias help could end it in a day but wont. Why? Because war is good for our economies.

So because they kill them we should kill them before they do?

War is hell, there is no right or wrong. The mission is to destroy ISIS. WW2 style bombing campaign helped turn the tide of the war effort. It can be used to do the same thing today.

It is better to pray for forgiveness for the future children that may die versus questioning your own morals for killing child soldiers after they have tried to shoot and kill you first.

ISIS isn't the only people over there teaching kids how to kill. Our die hard ally Israel does the same thing.

So your trying to say Israel is just as guilty as ISIS in the same capacity? Really now?

LOLOLOLOL You will have better luck catching the wind. You cannot kill an ideal just like when they tried to wipe out the Jews and their ideals that didn't work out to well did it?

WW2 style bombing campaign helped turn the tide of the war effort. It can be used to do the same thing today.

That worked because were going against a nation based military not a terrorist force spread out everywhere.

How pathetic. I'm sure there are many child molesters and serial killers that thought they were sending the kids they murdered to a better place. Also it isn't their soul you should be praying for it's your soul.

I went over there yesterday, offered them some flowers, I even brought a guitar to sing Kum-By-Ya, but they just weren't interested in your approach. Perhaps if you tried on your own, it would work better?
