Conservative voices are disappearing from the air, what's happening to liberal voices? If this were the market driving it then it would suggest a country rejecting conservatism only, but that doesn't quite make sense considered the result of the last election.

This whole fascist movement to threaten ad agencies, who then go on to pull their ads from anything the crybabies deem offensive, is ruining our news.

Fox News is getting hit but worse is what's happening to youtube where a number of alternative media types like Tim Pool are having their ad funding pulled, crushing the ability to make money and by extent, allowing a handful to continue controlling the media.

I couldn't care less about Hannity. I hardly ever watch FOX, mainly because after watching it for a couple of months in 2016 during the elections, I got utterly bored of the crappy music they play here in the UK in place of your adverts. It's literally some rubbish singer playing bad music every 5 minutes. That is without the awful graphics montage every 2 minutes. It's awful all round. Whenever I do watch FOX now it's usually just to get a snippet of an interview or segment via youtube.

I do care that one media organisation uses their ideologically aligned advertising heads to start a commercial war against their rivals based on political ideology. It's a disgrace that is allowed to happen and BS about it being market forces needs to be rejected for the baloney that it is.

Did you ever consider that this is happening to Fox News because they have gone so far off the rails in their reporting, misinformation, and "infotainment" that people have had enough? One can only lie for so long. Just think for a moment, what if you've been taken for a ride, your media sources like Drudge and Fox have been full of lies, and someone like CNN has been telling the truth the entire time?

That's not what's going on. What's happening is that Hannity jumped the shark. For about two years now he's been really into conspiracy theories, and he keeps going deeper and deeper down the rabbit hole. Lately, he's started lifting stuff from Infowars (including promoting them and Alex Jones as credible sources of news on his radio show), and he went into the Glenn Beck career suicide spiral.

He's completely lost touch with reality, to the point that his editors won't let him run with stories anymore.

As for why these media corporations exist, that is besides the point. The issue is that market forces are not at play here - it is a coordinated effort to remove voices who do not fit a certain narrative.

Hmm. Have you watch Rachael Maddow recently? If going down a conspiracy theory route was the path to being fired, she'd have had advertisers dropping out a long time ago and would already be stacking shelves at the local store.

MSNBC and CNN are honest without an ideological slant.

CNN is the most cited news source when scored between liberal and conservative sources, they must be doing something right to pull people from both sides. MSNBC is more biased, but they have started adding conservatives to the lineup.
