History is an amazing thing folks. Kind of related to how our oldest human history comes from Europe not Africa.

Turns out through history, republicans have been the biggest supporters of freedom and civil rights.

The democrats have been the biggest resistors of liberty and the KKK was an extension of their party to try and maintain white supremacy.

That's why it's ironic they are championed as the civil rights party when the exact opposite is true.

Both parties have exploited and oppressed citizens equally.

That's why they can do it. While people are busy arguing which party is worse, they both get to suck about equally.

If more people voted libertarian maybe they would find out they are even bigger supporters of liberty then either democrats or republicans.

I guess we will never know until people start voting for alternatives to the elephant and donkey clowns.

Hillary, painting herself as the "Champion for Womens' Rights and Minorities!", even though she calls troubled adolescents who are black "super predators" and says "We have to bring them to heel", as if they are dogs.

time.com...

Hypocrisy at its finest!

Good point.

Republicans won't see reduced spending until there is reduced wars.

Democrats won't see improvements on education or health care until reduced war.

Both love war though.

That's a tired and unintelligent response. If you actually watched the interview you would acknowledge that when it comes to racism, the democrats have been far worse throughout history.

Go back to high school.

You know any minute now you are going to get someone in the thread claiming the parties magically switched...

I voted for Ron Paul when he ran.

However this election was about winning and saving the nation from Hillary.
Voting libertarian would have been a good way to throw away votes and not win.

How about people educate themselves on libertarian principals and vote how THEY please. After all, what true libertarian would want to dictate how an individual votes?

I guess to me in order to save the country from hillary the cure was practically as bad as the disease.

I am grateful that their were alternatives because this might have been the first election I would have opted out of voting in if there wasn't any alternatives.

No, it doesn't. You read a news story that claims a single fossil find in Europe somehow negates 150 years of fossil evidence for the "Out of Africa" theory that just happens to be backed up by DNA studies which show the same thing. The evidence for "Out of Africa" is overwhelming, especially compared to an out-of-context single find with no corroborative evidence whatsoever. Sensationalistic news articles do not constitute science. History isn't so amazing when you take it out of context or, as in this case, you ignore it altogether.

Dragging up the past again, trying to put Republican's in a glowing light.

Anyone who's been on ATS for any length of time has debated the history of the Dems and Reps.

We all know the evolvement and switch in positions.

I disagree. You'd be surprised how few know history, even on ATS

We can't even decide what freedom is defined as.

So there will always be a division.

Dems are apart of the KKK

Reps are apart of the Illuminati

Quite the power struggle going on. Hope we are not just collateral damage.
