The way I read it - and and considering just how badly MSM outlets like WAPO have gotten things wrong in the past - this sounds a lot like Trump asked them first if they had any evidence, and when they said no, he asked them to state as much publicly.

I don't see anything there suggesting that he asked anyone to LIE about it. For this to be true, there would have to be actual evidence - and we all know that, to date, there has been ZERO evidence of collusion.

Also - why are you people not going after Obama for the exact same thing (what he did in the Israeli elections)?

It's an investigation. IF anything criminal is found then of course it will 'turn' criminal. Until that time, this is a special counsel investigation.

I am trying to understand what you are saying. If they have two or more sources saying Trump asked Coats and Rogers to "deny the existence of any evidence", is this a fact or an interpretation?

I'll try to make this as simple as possible.

Can you name the two sources?

If no, that lends to the story being not credible.

Can you verify the information that is being presented, ie with documents, audio/video tapes, eye witness accounts, admission by the affected party?

If not, the story is most likely deceptive in that there is not enough truth in it to be credible.

That's why I SPECIFICALLY said that it is starting to show signs that it is criminal now. I didn't say it was. Reading comprehension. Give it a shot. When I put words on paper I have a purpose for them.
