Is there a place where you draw the line? I mean, do you think we should have allowed the Nazi's to take over Europe?
Just curious.

Military chief of staff Gen. Eduardo Ano said the fighting broke out in Marawi when troops attacked a hideout for Muslim extremist leader Isnilon Hapilon.
Hapilon reportedly has been chosen to lead an Islamic State group branch in Southeast Asia and is on the U.S. Department of Justice list of most-wanted terrorists worldwide, with a reward of up to $5 million for his capture. An Arabic-speaking Islamic preacher known for his expertise in commando assaults, he pledged allegiance to the IS group in 2014, according to security officials.

...Overnight, heavy clashes erupted in the predominately Sunni city of Marawi in the southern Philippines after security forces and ISIS sleeper cells battled it out for hours on end.
Marawi is home to over 200,000 residents and is roughly the size of Raqqa in comparison.

Why do that? just surround the town, and cut off water, and food and electricity. Shoot anyone who tries to run the blockade and arrest all who walk out with their hands up and sort them out later.

This is not the first time that extremists have attacked and seized control of portions/sections of a city in the Philippines. The Filipino military will handle it, and it will be sorted out in the coming days.
