There is more than one group of evil bastards doing stuff in the name of Islam.

I don't know how you can twist my words into "I support IS", again you haven't the foggiest about me. Again their's more than just ISIS doing terrorist attacks, some that have never did an attack on Western soil... You probably don't know or care about them though do you?

Not enough. The media need to use their voices too. No downplaying where the issue lies.
Pressure needs to be exerted on the Muslim community. An arrest a day is not enough. I would expect to see a sustained campaign and hundreds (if not thousands) arrested every month. This simply is not an issue of a few terrorists in the country. Whilst still a significant minority of Muslims think in these sick radical ways, just 1% represents nearly 30k people in the UK.

The sickness of radical islam needs to demonised without compromise. I am frankly sick of the attitude that trying to do anything effective is somehow anti-Muslim and wrong. We could start by jailing anyone who spreads radical islamic doctrines... for life. Change the law to make it happen.

As a father I would ask Theresa what she is going to do about the 3500 terrorists (400 of them returning from fighting with ISIS) in the UK, those on lists, those who we know have bad intentions or don’t integrate into our culture? Multiculturalism doesn’t work and now we see the rivers of blood that Enoch Powell warned about so many years ago!

What is going to be done about those in our country who are a potential threat so our children can be safe?

If bad people (radical extremist believing Muslims) are on watch lists etc or have returned from fighting with ISIS should they not be taken off our streets because they are such a threat with their sick mindsets?

An angry parent who’s heart goes out to those who have lost their children as a result of some nut job who was probably known to the authorities as often they are!

Time to forget human rights of these animals and deal with the threats in a more preventative way. New laws needed to put those considered to be a possible threat behind bars!

Sad day we now have suicide bombers on our streets........its getting worse!

I have just listened to TM's speach about the attack and I did not here one word about prevention in the future. All that was said was about an investigation.

There was no reference made to what will be done following an investigation. e.g. no reference to a post investigation plan to tackle the issue and take preventative measures to protect our children.

Most of what was stated was just waffle and typical polly speak.

No reference to a future plan to address the problem, deal with the nuts amongst us or finding a solution.

What about all those who have already returned from fighting with ISIS (hundreds) and they walk amongst us as do other Muslim nuts!

Reports that a 23 year old.man has been arrested in connection to last nights attack.

Reports also say a man was arrested at arndale shopping centre in the last 30 minutes.

Im wondering if its the same person.

Good point. The FIRST thing to admit is that multi culturism can never work. Stop this nonsense at a policy level to protect our future and at a legal level to clean up the mess our politicians have create over the last 30+ years.

Perhaps the Arndale reports relate to the police tracking down an accomplice and arresting him?

Well, you interpreted it wrong if you thought that that is what i meant.
I'm not accusing you of that, what i meant to say is 'we cannot stand on the sideline and let IS spread any further than it already has.
That of course means some in our society are not very happy, the question is why?
Answer, we have IS supporters/islamic extremists in our midst, that should be alarming enough to act against radicals.
Yet we will simply wait for the next suicide bomber to attack somewhere.

Trust me fella, there's enough surveillance to catch them out. We can't know about how many tip-offs come from anywhere never mind the Muslim community.

We can't just lock people up for no reason, it'll tie up too much resources for very little gain.

But I do agree on one thing, it's an ideology, a mindset that needs wiping out. It's not indifferent than the mindset that allows criminals freedom within council estates. They ain't afraid of the criminals they just can't stand the police if you know what I mean?

Here's an example of the madness... remember that mad muslim cleric who preached hatred on the streets... the one with the hook hand? He was allowed to do that for years without being arrested. Change the law and make that illegal and punishable by life in prison. Make it nearly impossible for these sick idiots to spread their hate. Do the same with social media. Make ANY spread of this ideology a crime with the harshest punishment possible.

We can't.

That's why people volunteered to fight them because our government was too busy demonising Assange to do anything more than "token" bomb IS assets.

It's why I was in a way glad that Russia got involved in Syria, bringing much needed resources for people on the ground to move forward... I was fully aware that innocent people would suffer though, I'm saddened by our indecision regarding Iraq/Syria. Blair helped tie our hands in that regard but that's for another thread, so is the fact many nations in the region are more than happy to let such conflicts carry on.

It's political and it sucks.

I agree with this. Especially since they extremely limit Western values in their own countries. As well as cloister into closed communities when living in the West, failing to assimilate or fully embrace Western values, no matter which country they emigrate to. That speaks volumes.

In the past, immigration came with a certain aspirational pride and an enthusiasm to fit in, make connections and participate.
