Someone said very recently that the terrorists don't worship God, they worship death.

So true, so sad

I don't know about that. It takes a degree of planning to carry this out. They can't have known what the President was going to say although they might have known he was going to be visiting the Middle East.

They do have to be aware of the concert and plan with it in mind.

So much for the "good versus evil" speech yesterday.

According to the BBC the Manchester Arena is just calling it an 'incident'.

Maybe for you, but "islamic terrorists" was just mentioned on a MSM station here in the US while discussing this attack with a UK reporter

You're only exposing your lack of ability to deal with difference of opinion, rationally. Maybe had you read the post I was responding to, you would have understood the context.

That's pretty much standard Commonwealth policing-language. Nothing nefarious.

I'm shocked that it took until page 16 for someone to blame Trump.

You know what? Nevermind. It simply isn't worth the effort to get angry about how stupid that statement was.

Wow!

A step in the right direction. How can we fight an enemy that we can't even name?

If this is indeed what we all suspect, is it a coincidence with Trump's speech yesterday?

Almost certainly. Gathering materials would be done over a period of time to avoid drawing attention. Waiting for a significant target to come up (ie a concert) is more likely to be the decider for timing.

Also, the second device was placed along one of the evac routes. That suggests more planning was involved.

But what about the freedom of religion?

What bout it ?

Religion should be treated EXACTLY like boom sticks.

Can't have it both ways.

I tried to refrain, I really did, but the fact that you come into a thread like this and start whining about guns.... are you #ing serious right now, man?

I am surprised he didn't get blamed for doing it personally.

The "Moderate" Mulsims should take care of the extremists amoungst them. I would hate to see what happens when the general population had enough and decides to take matters into their own hands. It would be better if the moderates give up those who are extremists, because if the mob starts to exact revenge I do not think they will care who is innocent or not. I truly hope it will not get to this point.
