While more miniseries than movie, ATS folk will probably love Stranger Things on Netflix. It has secret experiments and coverups galore.

There's also film called The Objective that kept my interest. It was on Netflix when I first saw it but I'm not sure if it's still there.

A military special operations team, led by a CIA case officer, are on a mission in the harsh and hostile terrain of Afghanistan where they find themselves in a Middle Eastern "Bermuda Triangle" of ancient evil.

Wow. I love how you called They Live retro. That was futuristic, bang on stuff when I saw it. Still an all time favourite of mine.

Not really a conspiracy film but it is sort of... The Dyatlov Pass Incident. None of my friends liked it but I'd read so much about the real thing that I loved it. There's a really bizarre turn for the last part as well but I wont go into detail in case you haven't seen it.

Society is full on nutty stuff, so is From Beyond. Close Encounters of the Third Kind is THE classic.

I'm also throwing Logans Run in there because of Jessica Six.

Can't believe no one mentioned The Arrival (1996).

It's unexpectedly good, the plot revolves around an alien race slowly terraforming the planet through global warming. The character Gordon Freeman from the Half-Life series was supposedly inspired by this movie.

"They Live" was also a film I thought was completely crap while watching it one night on TV until the moment they find the 'magic' sunglasses. After that it suddenly becomes a great conspiracy thriller for a B-movie.

Then there is this one : Capricorn One

All about NASA faking a manned mission to Mars. Cheezy in places but obviously referencing the moon hoax conspiracies that seem to never go away.

I just started watching that today. It looks great and I have high hopes for future episodes.

They Live is an all time classic. Some think it's a documentary.

Can't believe no one suggested
Conspiracy Theory starring Mel Gibson, Julia Roberts, And Patrick Stewart as the villain.
This movie is like skimming through Ats. Talks about a bunch of conspiracies and of course they're all true in the movie.
Great performances from all the leads.
Just a really good solid movie that is worth the watch.
