Who gets married to a prostitute?

Pretty sure I remember seeing a docu/inside look years back about one of the Nevada brothels. It appeared married women also worked at it, not just single girls (can't remember if Bunny Ranch, or some other) So to answer your question, logic dictates if people can keep separate the spouse's job from emotions, anyone can can marry a sex worker.

Trust you to incite a homophobic backlash out of this.

Heterosexuals are cannibals as well.....
www.knysnakeep.org...
A psycho is a psycho. And yes there are gay ones out there too.

People with gender dysphoria are rarely homosexual.

Really? Please find your source here in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.
And then post your findings.

You couldn't just say DSM? And anyone worth their salt could throw the whole book at this story.

Which edition? Anyone worth their salt knows there is a divide in opinion with the DSMV4 and the DSMV5.

*raises eyebrow*

I wasn't trying to start a controversy, but DSMV4 and 5 would cover most bases here...

*raises glass*

Definitely not normal.

There's alot of really sick, disturbing things that happen to the teenagers of southeast asia. Alot of violent perverts prey on philipinas.

You're ignorant.

My boyfriend isn't gay. And my girlfriend isn't straight so...

A gay man wouldn't want anything to do with that woman.

I wonder if they were drug addicted or had other problems leading up to this (seems pretty obvious that they did).

Yes, Volke was a drug user and got Mayang into it as well.

He lured him / her away from working in legal brothels to make more money working privately. Volke mainly lived of Mayangs money.

So, yes it was all kinds of messed up.

Where did you get this info?? I looked up other articles on this, never got that though...

It was in a local newspaper. Volke was born in Ballarat and they did a close up article on him. Unfortunately there is no web article I know of to link.

But, gee, aren't they all harmless victims? That's what we are told. No danger to having someone like this in the restroom with your daughters, right?

Somehow, that claim doesn't seem to fit the facts.

You read a story about a trans woman being murdered by a cisgender man and your take-away is that trans women are dangerous? I don't think I'll allow my daughter to go in a restroom with any green-eyed bigots any time soon. My daughter isn't trans; you're just creepy.

You guys are jumpy as hell.

This story is the DSM. Treat it like some people treat their Bible; close your eyes, open it up, throw your finger down randomly, and you will hit something that correlates with this story, or my name isn't Tarzan.

It's not jumpy to not want your child to be alone with someone who bases their entire life around sexuality alone. We folk from the yonder call that there "wisdom".

But we also point out sex as a completely normal thing to not be afraid of; but the consequences are what to consider very strongly...

But this story... It sounds like something dreamt up by one of my wacked out acquaintances. As well, I've noticed that people always say, "You take one example!"; but the number of times I've heard that makes me wonder how y'all can keep saying it...

Quit being weirdos, someone was just murdered and cannibalized. That should be the focus here, not if they were gay or transgender or whatever.

I guarantee someone somewhere finds you objectionable based on something you have no control over, try to be a little more empathetic.

Put down the rocks, you're in a glass house.

So your problem is that the murder victim was a sex worker? Let me get this straight... a trans woman is murdered and that becomes a platform to extol the rediculous wisdom that trans women are dangerous?

What the flying # happened to this site?! You've all gone mad.

It's a stupid stance to take. Obviously sex workers are going to be more prone to violence, and unfortunately many trans people seek that work (I assume often because it's what they can get), but you don't expect them to be murdered by their husband or be inherently violent. Neither of those things should matter anyway, a person was murdered and then cooked in a pot. Who cares if you don't agree with their lifestyle, they weren't hurting anyone.

Being more likely to be murdered as a group doesn't mean it's less of a tragedy. Transgender, white person, gay, sex worker, male, female...

No.

My problem was that you had a problem with someone else commenting about how they will care about their children.

It wasn't an attack and neither was the comment which I am defending.

My problem here is that you have a problem with people focusing on aspects that are actually defined in the title of the thread.

And you're saying we're cray-cray.

Her comment was made as a response to a woman being murdered. And it suggested that the murdered woman was an example why all women like her are dangerous.

So my response was that people like the poster are viewed as dangerous and "cray-cray" to my family and most people I know. I wouldn't want children around people like that any more than I'd want them around racists or pedophiles.
