Ah thank you but save your kind thoughts for yourself today.
I only replied to express a little warmth your way.

Someone spiked my drink with empathy, don't worry, it only lasts a few hours, less if I sweat it out dancing to psy-trance.

...think of yourself today though, and know that at least one opinionated prick on ATS is sending kind thoughts.
...don't get used to it though, I was spiked!

LOL! Have you been in our shed drinks where the pixies sprinkle their magic dust in our drinks?

I'm fine today. Tomorrow is Mother's Day and I shall honor my Mom with the same love I have always carried for her in my heart. I will get weepy eyed with the precious memories of our lives together, but I will be ok. Again, thank you!

I think you're right, it was pixie dust I got spiked with, not empathy, just got home nearly 10am, only pixie dust can do that!
Empathy must be a side effect of pixie dust though because I'm still feeling kindest thoughts your way.
Hoping beautiful memories make your weepy eyes smile today

Unlike you, Night Star, my mom and I were not very close. In my memory I only went along and dined with my parents and siblings to celebrate this ''special day''. They bought expensive presents or took her out; I didn't know how to please her without a robust income. To avoid seeing her disappointed facial expression, I left a small gift and card, which I was able afford, on the table; she said nothing just placed the card and the gift on the shelf....
She's gone, I have no mom to send a card or buy a small gift; yet, I give my blessing to all moms in the world -------

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!

Aw honey. Moms love their babies even if they're unable to show it.
And even neglected and abused children love their mothers on some level.
I'm sending you a big mommy hug and kiss. Have a great day. 💓💋

Awwww, that made me sad. Any gift from the heart, even a home made card or wild flowers found outside should be treasured by any Mom. Hugs to you!
