What is interesting is a few Dems are now demanding to know
If Comey was taped. They might just be shocked in how
they get their answer.

if the tapes have been on a continuous roll for 6 months

those kind of files and evidence would not be allowed to be taken out of a secured area, director or not.

...vague recollections of the national archive and a Berger... er burglary come to mind...

And wasn't there an important file box that was missing for a while that showed up later with someone's fingerprints on it?

Might also want to find out if any pertinent paperwork has been given to the care of Iron Mountain as that company seems to, coincidentally, have had a series of fires at facilities which housed paperwork associated with government shenanigans and related financial tomfoolery.

And it's not like the second in command over there (at the FBI) has a connection to the Clintons...

Oh... Wait...

Good points, I wonder if Trumps tweet about
"Taped" recordings had anything to do with this?

If you mean the SIC meeting asked for the 16th May? that meeting was meant to supplant the one he would have attended on the 11th May, except that Trump er, fired him first.

Called it. Hmm i completely forgot about the 9/11 angle. F#ck does he know something that could damage the US as a whole and not just Trump.

Why would he tell more now than before? He would be disliked by even more people.

I hope they are watching McCabe very closely. The wagons that have been circling the Clintons are dropping off one by one as the swamp gets drained. He's a wagon.

(Gawd! I would love to know what the Clintons have on these people.)

I think Mr.Comey knew that Clinton/Lynch/Obama would fail.

I think he reopened that case honestly.

I doubt he needs the Fifth

This was posted in the Comey fired thread

"He is not going be testifying on Tuesday but it is our hope in the not too distant future that we can find a time for him to come in and talk to our committee," Warner, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said.

Warner added that Comey "is going to tell his side of the story" once "the appropriate time and place" are figured out.

So when other news agencies pick it up will
you come back and say anything?

ETA Wa Po is reporting on it now, and The Independant.
Add CNN now so it must be valid, haha.

www.cnn.com...

Better sources, thank you. Though I don't do CNN (or TV for that matter) I did check the other references.

I did not find any reference to "Comey" refusing to testify in a closed door session. In the Independent the front page lead was "Comey's firing leaves many conservative hoping for new Clinton probe" the attached article says nothing about a refusal to testify at all. The Washington Post front page has "In apparent warning to Comey, Trump suggests possible 'tapes' of their private conversations" nothing about a Comey refusal to testify there either.

www.independent.co.uk...
www.washingtonpost.com...

So "WasUp with that"?

Regardless - you do not answer my assertation that you misread your own quote and thereby implied all sorts of irrelevancies and delusions.

My suggestion - stay in school. Reality requires effort.

He'll get subpoenaed and testify under oath.

Or he'll take a nice job as a lobbyist or think tank consultant while drawing his pension ... or he'll become the president of some university somewhere.

... and the wheels on the bus go round and round.

Convenient, especially considering you won't read the news source.

The investigator is to be investigated.

Requested, no doubt, by both sides. For opposite reasons.

Failure Because Instructed ???

Perhaps three separate investigations are needed.

At least here there seems to be evidence.

And remarkably few Russians.

No. He knows something on Hillary most likely . Something he has to avoid . Ever think Trump did Comey a favor ? I do , and moreso with this thread.

Dems want to know about tapes and they dont care about if they clear or inciminate comey beceause it means Trump went and pulled a nixon and now a ton of # Trump said behind closed doors could be subpoenaed.
