1. He was fired for that presser he did last year about how guilty hillary was and

2. not recommending prosecution, which was not his job to do.

Everyone who has been asked under oath has said it multiple times now.

... Including Comey just recently when he and Yates were questioned.

Come on. Who really believes that Comey deliberately lied about Huma Abedin forwarding emails? What I can't understand is the Trump supporters in the thread who seem to believe that Comey's mistatement somehow proves a pro-Clinton bias? Why would he lie to make what Abedin did sound way worse than what actually happened if he was trying to toss Clinton a bone? For all practical purposes, whatever Abedin has done while in the employ of Clinton reflects on Hillary Clinton.

AP claims this was after Comey gave inaccurate testimony under oath that was corrected later by the FBI.

The White House made the stunning announcement shortly after the FBI corrected a sentence in Comey's sworn testimony on Capitol Hill last week. Comey told lawmakers that Huma Abedin, a top aide to Hillary Clinton, had sent "hundreds and thousands" of emails to her husband's laptop, including some with classified information.

On Tuesday, the FBI said in a two-page letter to the Senate Judiciary Committee that only "a small number" of the thousands of emails found on the laptop had been forwarded there while most had simply been backed up from electronic devices. Most of the email chains on the laptop containing classified information were not the result of forwarding, the FBI said.

So his testimony was bad enough that his own agency sent a two page letter to the senate judiciary to correct his record? Maybe that has something to do with it. What else has he been misinformed about and they haven't bothered to correct him?

Mayube that also has something to do with it.

It was inevitable it was going to happen, the head of the FBI almost always changes with a new President. Usually it happens around September though.
