What a coward. Such an unmitigated, egregiously incomprehensible FOOL Trump is.

wow.

Did you, dear reader, really vote for this shamefully, woefully and spectacularly unfit disgrace of a human being for POTUS? If you did, make no mistake. This is on you. It's ALL on you. On ALL of you.

Our country has needed this kind of leadership for a long time... regardless of how you (or anyone else) chooses to label him.

If you have any energy left after your tantrums, work to defeat the President in the next election.

Chuck Schumer says Trump made a big mistake firing Comey.

Perfect Chuck.

Anything to keep it off the Democrats !!

Schumer is right. And frankly , if at this late juncture, you still find this all humorous, and you still troll the members of this board with blatant trash and DISINFORMATION, you, dude, are MORE than "part" of the problem.

Shame on you.

If what you say is true, you are equally part of the problem.

Democrats scrambling to blame this on the Russia investigation.

Last year, they hated Comey for exposing Hillary, now they love him and will use him as the newest scapegoat.

If that were the case, we wouldn't already know as much about it as we do.

And what, exactly, do we actually know about the FBI's ongoing investigation?
Please enlighten us.

All the various supposed connections: Carter Page, the lawyer Cohn (who turned out to be a different Cohn), Flynn, Sessions, and all the other people who are close to Trump who might have spoken at some time in their lives with a Russian in some capacity via the unmasked raw intel thanks to Susan Rice and a bevy of anonymous leaks.

So much for playing it close to the chest.

Contrast that with the Clinton Foundation investigations. We know they exist and that's about it. No leaks.

Finally the plug's been pulled and the despicables are circling around the drain of the swamp..Hillary, Huma, Billy, Loretta, Comey, and finaly Obama. He should have gotten rid of Comey on day 1. No Obama holdovers should have remained in his office on day 2.

Currently Chuck Schumer is giving a statement pointing out the people he has fired and calling it a big mistake. The Russia story, the resistance BS, all of it has blown up n their faces. Whats worse is the Democrats willl never concede the loss or the lies so will go down with the ship.

He is calling for a special prosecutor now... I say appoint one with the mission to investigate everyone, Clinton and Trump.

Just for record keeping...Would be filed under the Drain the Swamp campaign promise? Kinda seems like it would to me, but I figured I would ask.

Drain the swamp was complete BS! You don't drain the swamp by creating the richest administration ever populated by how many Goldman Sachs bankers?

Nope, if he was draining the swamp he wouldn't have hired Goldman Sachs and fellow billionaires to run our gov't and he definitely would have fired Comey in his early days after being sworn in.

Nope, Trump is on the run and firing anyone who gets too close to his skeletons.

Actually I could make exactly the opposite argument - who is going to be least likely to be bribed / coerced by money and gifts - Rich people.

I do not buy the argument that all rich people are out to destroy peons. Most when they are working for their corporations are out for what is best for their company and they ignore the consequences to anyone outside of their shareholders. That is not the same thing as trying to screw peons, it's having a singular focus on success for their shareholders. Now their corporation is the United States, and their shareholders are US citizens, and they are likely trying to work in their favor. People are motivated for selfish reasons - enrichment, power, and doing things to feel good about themselves. Very few are motivated by doing harm to others and getting off on it.

Trump should have fired Comey immediately, don't know why he didn't, but I'm glad it's done now.

Wasn't Comey stating recently that nobody could oust him, he was in there for like six more years?

Comey seemed to attack Hillary more than Trump, he could not produce any evidence that Trump was colluding with Russia.

I guess Comey was not afraid of anyone at all.

The FBI director is appointed to a 10 year term, supposedly to remove politics from their job of running the FBI in a supposed non partisan manner. The only way the director can leave is if they are impeached, resign or are fired by the President.

That's assuming Comey was fired to cover up a Trump-Russia tie. So far there is no indication of such, although the investigations will likely continue for some time.

There have been alleged ties back to Clinton and the DNC... apparently not followed up on and quickly hushed, but I tend to notice short-lived stories.

I expect Trump to actively engage the investigation into Russia... but this time to investigate ALL allegations. I also expect the brunt force of the investigation to fall on some shoulders attached to heads that have been screaming bloody murder since November.

Hook. Line and sinker. That was Trumps plan all along. Yates and the idiots at yesterdays hearing were all for it. This is gonna be good.

Charles Schumer is a pig douche. Seriously. Goodbye Mr Comey. Please appoint someone who will now ago after Mrs Clinton and the rest of the dirtbags.

This is flushing the swamp and it is big time. Once he is not there to protect and someone like, David Clarke, is put in this position it will be time to 'come to jesus' as they say.

No one from the Obama admin should be anywhere near this current administration. Fire them all....

What leadership?...he is an angry, half-senile, thin skinned cowardly moron.

He proves repeatedly on a near daily basis.

Firing people isn't leadership...So weird that people think that firing someone is how a leader leads.

Snowflake Dems need to realize Trump is in charge. He's the big boss. Comey is out. They have a holier than thou attitude but have many skeletons in their closet. Time to prosecute them all.

That sure was the theory behind it.

In practice it was extremely careless and highly unsophisticated.

Could this have something to do with the recently revealed emails showing that Lynch told Hillary that she would cover for her in the investigation?

Comey was asked about that in the recent hearing and he said he could not discuss it, but did not deny its existence.

NO.

It has only to do with Trump's team colluding with Russia. Deal with it.
It's real, and no amount of tripe from Infowars is going to erase that.

Except all Obama appointees have said there was no collusion with Trump and Russia.
