If I was a younger lad I would say go for it and have at least one decent night of debauchery and fun...

On the other hand and now that I am knocking on a few years I would also question myself as to if this is not one of those scams and that all she wants is to have British nationality!

Happened to someone I knew about 20 years ago... He met up with an eastern european chick, he fell in LUST, they got married and within 6 months she divorced him once she got UK citizenship.

She also ripped him off for all the money she could take and even managed to get his flat... If I remember correctly she also worked the night time bars which were controlled by eastern european mafia types...

Strippers do this all the time. They get a guy hooked, won't meet up with them unless it's at the strip club, and milk them for money.

"Hey, can we meet at the club and hang out?". "My boss says I can't talk unless you buy a dance..."

I mean it might not be the case here, but I'm betting it is.

It doesn't matter if you don't have money. Guys get suckered into doing stupid stuff and wasting money all the time when they don't have it. Be realistic about it, do you have a super good personality? Are you incredibly funny? Are you really good looking?

I don't have experience with this personally, but I've seen it happen to people. The stripper/hooker with the heart of gold is probably one of the rarest things in the world. I bet she's also trying to pay her way through college, just wants an honest man who likes her for her and will treat her right. If you're going to pursue it, make her pursue you, don't spend any money on her outside of dates and don't visit her at work. Good luck man.

I was 39 once too as were many blokes I knew and know...

We have NEVER seen all the games that the other gender can play mate... believe me...

If she/they wants to screw you over she/they will and you won't even know until it is too late...

I am sure others will come along shortly to express similar opinions...

Bro, listen to me carefully. I am a manager in an upscale gentleman's club in the South. I deal with dancers six days per week. First, if you aren't looking for drama, keep her around as a friend for six months before hooking up with her. If she is a stripper, there is a ton of baggage.

I would wonder why you would want to date someone that doesn't fit your definition of 'normal'?
You said it was a 'potential' date so, nether of you has asked the other out yet?
It's a date not a proposal of marriage (yet) IMO and there's no need to overthink it. If you enjoy each other's company and want to see each other socially then go for it.
Not everyone who works in the sex industry has baggage although an awful lot of folks not in that industry do as well, it's a crap shoot either way these days. She may not have friends outside of the club and wants to. She may have a difficult time finding friends who don't have an ulterior motive (money, drugs, sex).
I don't know, it's your choice and I wish you luck in whatever it is you're looking for.
