I grew up close to there, on Ft Loudon lake. I've been to Tuckaleechee several times, I love that its still so rustic. You really have to be fairly fit to get through the entire tour. Once I'm able to post, I may start up a thread or two on the unique East Tennessee geology and various mysterious phenomenon there. Enjoyed the read!

I know Ft. Loudon Lake. Cool lake not far from here at all.

It's kind of deceiving how much of a workout the tour is. I think mainly it's the ducking and climbing or descending the stairs that is the most tiring. It's not so bad though, thanks to the temperature in the caverns, I stayed cool.
