Is it me, or does it look like the Canadian flag, without the red borders?

Well, I am seriously glad that I am not the only one who is puzzled by this. I'm not really convinced by the Mars anomalies as I tend to believe that rocks can do funny things in the right lighting and conditions. This one is strange though and I did think that it looked like the maple on the Canadian flag.

I did see the video on Secure Team but I wanted to get to the original source myself as I am aware of the dubious nature with that channel. He hasn't faked this one as far as I can see, so maybe we have a genuine mystery or hopefully someone will come along with an explanation that will be so obvious...we just didn't see it.

Also, it looks very foggy, almost misty...And the soil looks damp. Very weird.

If Elon Musk has his way we'll have much better views of Mars by 2025 lol

Ha!

If I had Elon Musk's wealth you'd be having a better view of Mars in a year at most.

I know the JPL images linked the OP aren't fake, so if Secure 10 does wanna Hoax, they'd have to have some sort of conclusion about WHAT exactly that is.

Which is impossible really. Hence why anything they say, outside of that, is probably not bad. OR at least worth listening to on some level.

No idea what it is. But Tyler at Secure Team posted a video about it recently. Video points out other Mars anomalies as well.

Can't get vid to work, he's the link: YouTube link

This should work. (if there is an ampersand somewhere in the final video number, delete it and anything that follows)

Why can JPL make 1200p HD color photos.

Then this stuff wouldn't be up to interpretation.

Yeah, the images on the video piqued my interest because the thing just looks so bizarre and the direct link to the pictures were in the info, so off I went. I wish they were sharper and I am unsure if there are any higher resolution images available. I'm kind of new to this sort of research although long in the tooth when it comes to UFOs and such.

I was rather hoping the pics had been discussed previously on ATS and that there had been some sort of satisfactory resolution already put forward.

I believe it's photoshopped. A simple copy and paste. Whom ever edited it forgot to change the orientation of the object in the second photo. The camera pans at least 10 degrees and the anomaly doesn't change at all. Looks exactly alike in both photos and it shouldn't.

I say fake.

Panning doesn't change the object orientation that much, especially if the object is relatively far.

You'd need a change in distance for that to actually happen.

Additionally, the source of the picture is pretty legit. It's from JPL itself.
