FAKE NEWS ALERT: Maxine Waters Claims She Has Never Called for Trump’s Impeachment

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) falsely claimed that she has never called for President Trump to be impeached during an interview on MSNBC on Tuesday.

MSNBC’s Craig Melvin asked Waters to name what impeachable offenses Trump has committed, after Waters had tweeted earlier in the day, “The President is a liar, his actions are contemptible, & I’m going to fight everyday until he’s impeached.”

“I have not called for impeachment,” Waters told Melvin.

Melvin pointed out to Waters that is exactly what she has done with her tweet.

There are many dumb politicians around the world but the US is just chock full of them. Can't wait til they have to reveal that they got nothing to impeach Trump and never had. Twitter is gonna explode and i will roast me some marshmallows on the pile of ashes. It's gonna be glorious.

The Democrats are so in trouble.

The have their new chairman on a peace tour across the midwest with Sanders and Ellison and Pereze basically got treated just like some of the Republicans have been treated by the same people (hint: Republicans are seeing Resist protestors at the Town Halls, not angry constituents). Perez left after being booed off.

So the civil war on the left is in full swing, and they don't really have any good leadership or bench at all, not if they're talking about Hillary 2020.

They do, but the reality is that they *might* scrape out a victory against 4 opponents splitting the vote after treating the race like a national election.

They aren't taking back the House if they have to rely on every race to have those circumstances and those resources poured in.

Perhaps she should work every day on improving the lives of her constituents. Probably a better use of her time, given that is her job.
