And that is the scary part.
IMHO.

Prilosec is also supposed to be for short term...yet I kept getting refills and refills over a 10 year period....from the same doctor.
I did not take it constantly......but when I got GERDy....I did take it for weeks at a time.

For anyone curious: The replacement default was Raberprazole (Aciphex Eq).

Guaranteed. In my case, cut back on carbs, esp processed ones. Upped my probiotic food intake. No meat at night.
