Why Only Evacuate 25% of Pyongyang if War is Imminent?

Is Kim Jong-un evacuating only as many souls as he can feed if war breaks out?

I have this truly sickening feeling that the Insane Fat Dwarf is going to "suicide" millions with his nukes rather than let them be taken by the Chinese.

I wouldn't want to be the 75% who DIDN'T get evacuated!

We could be looking at the single greatest act of murder in Human History, folks!

He's frightened of defection, mass defection to be precise. His chain of command is his weakest link as with anyone who has absolute power, all it takes is a good Psy Opp and a CGI broadcasting something like "The great leader has negotiated with strength and the imperialists have surrendered, to his demands! The reunification of the North and South is agreed and the border is now open" If anyone came on after and said it was a lie they would be shot because that is not what the NK want to believe.

Nothing us as ridiculous as your assumption the korean gubmnet is going to suicide its population.

My point is this has nothing to do with Korea. The reason the US military occupies the Korean Peninsula is to threaten China and Russia (Derp).

Attacking Korea would in fact be suicide if those superpowers weigh in.

But not to people like you that think the Empire can win this time...

Right on! It's just speculation on my part of course, but in going through the reasons as to why only 25% would be evacuated there can really only be a very few possibilities.

Anonentity's theory is a good one too.

Now news sites like the bbc and cnn are running the fear mongering storys im inclined to belive that nothing will happen, no war is coming. Just more fear for the average western citizens.

Pravda is not a tabloid. They're a fairly well-respected international news source at this point. I don't dismiss their reporting out-of-hand, but would like another source on this.

The only reason NK actually works is because they have perfected state security to such a high degree, that if anyone is caught not crying, when they should be their names are written in the little black book. One defector said most of them put spit around their eyes to feign emotion. It wouldn't take much.
But since all the sophistication in their weapons is from China, they might not be the problem.
