russia bad mouthed hilary and encouraged us citizens to vote for trump to avoid further conflicts. putin thought russia would be better off with trump as u.s president, did putin think trump would have his back? did putin think trump would lift the embargo and restore relations with russia?

if russia and syria are behind the chemical attacks did putin think trump would actually ignore u.s. foreign policy and let russia and syria get away with murder in syria? did putin try to get away with one thinking trump would look the other way and help cover up the chemical attacks for him? perhaps putin thought trump gave him the green light and was trying to speed up the process in syria to defeat the rebels. the syrians were gaining ground and close to defeating the rebels with russias help, why would they pull such a dumb move unless they thought trump would look the other way?

if the u.s or rebels are behind the chemical attacks did trump double cross putin? did trump make buddy buddy with putin and then pull a 360 once elected president?

will the u.s allow an international impartial investigative team to come in and find out what happened?

imo the white helmets participation calls the entire event into question.

one thing is for sure the trump/putin honeymoon is over, or is it?

where did i say i believed in russian hacking or assad gassing his own people? i do not know what to believe with all the propaganda going around.

i do believe russia influenced the election, if only by bad mouthing hilary and friends and thinking that relations would be much friendlier with trump as president. i had several friends parroting the hilary will get us into ww3 narrative and now here we are not even 6 months into trumps presidency and we seem to be on the verge of just that, which is why i ask the question, did russia get played?

i offer a few other scenarios of what possibly could have happened but i am leaning towards the rebels did the chemical attack in order to frame assad for it.

whatever the case may be i just pray that the u.s had undeniable evidence that syria was in fact responsible for the chemical attacks.

Does every sentence in your OP end with a question mark?

Are you really just asking a bunch of questions?

No, the global civilian population got played by the US shadow government pushing the military/industrial complex agenda -
Trump & Putins relationship being the target of their ire and subsequent lying propaganda. Trump always said he would welcome a geopolitical realignment and generate a real and genuine relationship with Putin to achieve real peace.

Warpigs like Clinton, McCain and Pelosi et al want war, by proxy, with Russia so as to dominate ME resources and economic affairs.

pretty much because i cannot prove or disprove any of it. the op is pretty much one big question that most likely cannot be answered given the lack of credible evidence.

so trump is just another puppet? that is sad because as much as i do not agree with him it would have been awesome if i could have been proven wrong. it would be awesome if trump truly was anti-establishment anti-shadow government that he would have ordered a full scale impartial investigation into the chemical attacks, therefore proving he was right in who was responsible.

perhaps trump did get undeniable evidence and is making the right move here, time will tell i guess.

Next question is did ISIS move chemical weapons into the area knowing the area would be hit by Syrian airstrikes and then deploy the gas at an opportune time to frame Assad.

I was wondering why Iran was so worked up about the Trump strike. They are Shia Muslims as is Assad.

Next question..Why is Trump suddenly anti-assad anti-russia? Surely he has some undeniable/credible evidence..Anyone?? Anyone??? Bueller????

The 'official' report is that U.S. Intelligence watched the airplanes that dropped the alleged chemical weapons land at the airfield that was then hit with 59 Tomahawks. If this is true then the response is justified. If there was a false-flag conspiracy behind the motives for the gas attack then the person(s) responsible deserve an eternity in hell.

If Putin expected Trump to be his puppet then he was mistaken. Trump is somebody who plays by his own rules, right or wrong. This has been clear for as long as Trump has been in the public forum and frankly was the main reason I voted for him.

My best guess is that Assad had the weapons stashed for awhile and thought that Russia had enough influence over tthe U.S. that would protect him enough to use them in order to keep his citizens in fear. Trump seized the moment to punish Assad and just as importantly put pressure on North Korea.

The best strategy in anything is to be as unpredictable as possible. Trump has that in spades with the strength of the U.S. military at his control. Russia and Iran are posturing and hoping to find some(any) allies to counter the growning U.S. hegemony.

supposedly trump plays by his own rules, those rules seem to be aligned with the very rules he bashed obama for. was obama right to want to take assad out all along, was obama right to be anti-russia all along? now trump is backing nato, whats next will trump bring back obama care? trump seems to be the same puppet obama was continuing the efforts to destabilize the middle east and create even more refugees and terrorists!!!!

Obama's rules were to draw a line in the sand and them promptly re-draw the line as soon as the first line was crossed. Had Obama stood firm with his words and backed them with action, then maybe we wouldn't be gaming over why Trump did what he did because maybe he wouldn't have had and maybe he wouldn't be in the White House because Obama might have had a better legacy to pull Clinton along.

And let's not forget that it was Obama that promised us that he made a huge deal with both Russia and Syria to have Assad turn over 100% of his chemical weapons to Russia to have them removed from the country. Over and over he promised us this. Clearly, someone done gone and effed up bigly on that one.

That is if you buy the narrative that Syria was indeed responsible for the attack. It was the Obama administrations foreign policy to be anti Assad and now Trump is anti Assad. I find this questionable, show us the proof that Assad is worse than the alternative (rebels and terrorists) and that Assad was behind the chemical attack.

I don't think he was either. I think Trump was surprised by the non-limited use of chemical weapons. If Assad had only hit military targets with chemical weapons, I don't think there would have been any strike by US cruise missiles.

No one cares if Assad kills rebels. I don't think Trump cares if Assad targets rebels, even with the use of chemical weapons.

Assad has a right to rule. So, killing the rebels is understandable. If he relinquishes his Presidency, the world might have another ISIS. And leaving the Presidency might put Assad's and his families life at risk. It's probably easier to guarantee his safety as President then being anywhere else on the planet.

That's why killing the rebels is understandable.
