Far-right claims responsibility for Borussia Dortmund blasts

On Saturday, the Tagesspiegel newspaper reported it had received a claim of responsibility apparently from far-right groups, who were hit out at multi-culturalism and threatened another attack.

Frauke Koehler, a spokeswoman for federal prosecutors who was referring to an email received by the newspaper, said: "We have the letter claiming responsibility. We are examining it."

Three identical letters close to the site of the blasts initially suggested an Islamist link, but questions over the authenticity of the claim have been raised.

Welt newspaper said on Saturday, citing security sources, that the explosives may have come from army stock.

This is when it all goes quiet.

Plot twist: german media is now reporting, that police arrested a suspect.

A 28 year old russian-german man. Motive: making money.

According to the news he checked in the Hotel where the Borussia Team stayed.
He did ask for a room with a view to the street.
He took a loan and placed put-option on Borussia's Team stocks. And triggered the explosives from the hotel room. in the hope the stocks would plummet and he will make profit.

The police was informed of irregular stock trading and found out, that the IP adress of the deal is the IP adress of the hotel.

According to police and media there is no political/religious/terrorist background.

I don't know. Seems strange that he was quite professional with explosives, used military grade detonators but at the same time acts like a total noob by using the hotel network/IP to place put-options.
