Lil Boosie is on that track with Jeezy too. I don't know Boosie too much, but do know that the first time I heard him it was on CNN! it was the night of the Ferguson officer's trial, when Officer Wilson was cleared of charges.. a crowd waiting outside the courthouse for the news, Lil Boosie's "F#$% the Police" playing (uncensored of course) in the background. Line of police facing tense crowd. It was actually pretty ominous.
I'm pretty sure that was the night that Don Lemon got tear gassed.. now that was one funny highlight in an otherwise unsettling night.

My favorite when I was a teen-- I just loved the beat and thought the subject matter was so deep. I hadn't lost anyone close yet but I could feel the pain.

I only read page 1 but did not see Nelly mentioned. Sure he sold out but that first album was Gold.

I'll be honest I didn't know until you posted that picture! It wasn't the first time either, I've projected the gender on to a couple of members and was suprised when I found out they were actually women.
