He wasn't. Flynn was all Trump. One of the reasons the establishment disliked him btw. Bannon is the other high profile guy no one likes.

Trump losing both, combined with all the various Republican infighting is proof that Trump is a weak President.

He blew all his political capital on bad hires rather than on policy.

It all makes sense now. Good moves on this one.

NBC is reporting Bannon resigned because he was only there as a "check against Michael Flynn", only attended one meeting...and felt he was no longer needed in the role.

No wonder yesterday the freedom caucus were saying that Bannon was not present for the Obama repeal meeting that they were having and nobody knew where he was.

I didn't pay attention to that because I thought it was not important.

Smart move.
Having Bannon's hand on the tiller in these times is not sensible - with the situations in North Korea and Syria escalating, it's only a matter of time before the media started to blame Bannon for every misstep or difficulty. Better for Bannon to be disconnected and advise in a more private capacity.

Two conflicting reports on this - one that it was what Bannon wanted and another that he was removed by Trump.

Another one bites the dust, it's also good to see the excuses coming in from the trumptards, trump got played by Flynn and bannon, who's going to be next lol.

Bannon is just the first of many to leave the inner circle of Trump. Many have lost confidence in Trump as a leader. The Republicans are backing away from trump in fear of the 2018 elections. As well they should be!!!
