Hah! I'm a sucker for these types of women. All my favourite women crooners are the same type of woman. It's the same in literature, too; Emily Bronte, Virginia Woolf and the likes.

It doesn't mean they are toughies either. They are sensitive women with fierce individualistic and intelligent natures; a strange crew.

Do you have a liking for these types? Do you know any tracks you wanna share with me? I mean QUALITY, not just the usual dross pop.

I wish to share 3 with you. Two are by Nancy Sinatra and one by Amy Winehouse. It is so attractive and appealing to me. They are vulnerable yet fierce. I don't mean in terms of sexiness; I mean all the other stuff.

Nancy's track here is practically prophetic. In the light of modern female empowerment and feminism and a very different future we have lined up, I sure have been burned by them matches and walked on by the sharp stilettos, lol.

I have no words to say anything about Amy's song. How come so ferocious yet vulnerable to literally deadly extremes?

Bang Bang, Nancy! The ultimate lovers' dirge. Nancy has an amazing voice and stage presence, a chip off the old block.

Give me high emotion, vulnerability and craziness. It makes me feel alive. It is not the kind of relationship one has in order to raise a family though, lol!

When you open the "reply" box to comment there are some icons above. Last but one on the right is a "youtube" icon. Click once on that, then press "OK". Then a box comes up. In the box type or copy in just the characters after the forward slash:

https: //youtu.be/9RuPcq3afgE

That is the whole sharing link, but for ATS just use the:

9RuPcq3afgE

after the forward slash.

Copy that bit into the ATS box then press "OK" again and it will work. You can edit it if it goes wrong until you get it right.

I am watching the videos now.

The Fiona Apple song is amazing. That is what I was getting at about the "vulnerable" thing. It is the very thing people might not expect of women like this.

Cool, me too. I did not know about Fiona Apple. She's a good artist.

I am liking all these tracks.

I reckon these kind of women are the kind who get very passionate like crying on the kitchen floor. Boy, can they play serious emotional and head games, too. Sometime, there is like a bipolar thing going on, too.

It can be a very destructive experience getting involved and playing with fire. Who would believe it that relationships can be FATAL!; dangerous territory, fools rushing in where angels fear to tread.

However, what kind of relationships have made people write novels, poems, paint pictures and sing songs? Stable partnerships and family are obviously the right path.

Try telling that to metaphorical Bonnie and Clyde that get a kick of passion out of an altogther stranger kind of love. You can only write or sing so much about Daddy, Mommy and Baby Bear, but Heathcliff and Kathy fills the veins to bursting point with passion and feeling.

I know I have loved Women twice in my life who made me ill. They were the ones who captivated me so it is my fault. We have to live with the choices we make. Some of us just seem fated to keep doing the same thing despite the warnings.

I have been on my own a long time now. I am actually too scared to enter another relationship. I am one of those people who has to worry because I am a very vulnerable person. I think it is a lot to do with that passive/aggressive thing. I admit I can be like that (I don't mean physically). It usually come because when we are young we get abused in one way or another so we start making defense mechanisms while at the same time we are highly sensitive to every slight from another because we were programmed with pain at an early point.

I know Billie Holiday would agree with me. As a guy, Hank William would, too. Yep, not just girls but guys, too. I could give yo a list that would include Elvis, Hank, Jim Morrison and many others.

There is always a kind of romance around "damaged love". It is the thrill, the high tension, the unpredictability I guess that fascinates.

Yes, she did literally "rock the boat" with her music.

Here is a poem by Sylvia Plath. Sylvia was an American poet who lived in the UK and married an English poet called Ted Hughes.

She killed herself in the finish in a particularly gruesome manner. People did not realize that she really MEANT what she was saying. I never make that mistake now, to not listen.

"Lady Lazarus

I have done it again.
One year in every ten
I manage it-----

A sort of walking miracle, my skin
Bright as a Nazi lampshade,
My right foot

A paperweight,
My featureless, fine
Jew linen.

Peel off the napkin
O my enemy.
Do I terrify?-------

The nose, the eye pits, the full set of teeth?
The sour breath
Will vanish in a day.

Soon, soon the flesh
The grave cave ate will be
At home on me

And I a smiling woman.
I am only thirty.
And like the cat I have nine times to die.

This is Number Three.
What a trash
To annihilate each decade.

What a million filaments.
The Peanut-crunching crowd
Shoves in to see

Them unwrap me hand and foot ------
The big strip tease.
Gentleman , ladies

These are my hands
My knees.
I may be skin and bone,

Nevertheless, I am the same, identical woman.
The first time it happened I was ten.
It was an accident.

The second time I meant
To last it out and not come back at all.
I rocked shut

As a seashell.
They had to call and call
And pick the worms off me like sticky pearls.

Dying
Is an art, like everything else.
I do it exceptionally well.

I do it so it feels like hell.
I do it so it feels real.
I guess you could say I've a call.

It's easy enough to do it in a cell.
It's easy enough to do it and stay put.
It's the theatrical

Comeback in broad day
To the same place, the same face, the same brute
Amused shout:

'A miracle!'
That knocks me out.
There is a charge

For the eyeing my scars, there is a charge
For the hearing of my heart---
It really goes.

And there is a charge, a very large charge
For a word or a touch
Or a bit of blood

Or a piece of my hair on my clothes.
So, so, Herr Doktor.
So, Herr Enemy.

I am your opus,
I am your valuable,
The pure gold baby

That melts to a shriek.
I turn and burn.
Do not think I underestimate your great concern.

Ash, ash---
You poke and stir.
Flesh, bone, there is nothing there----

A cake of soap,
A wedding ring,
A gold filling.

Herr God, Herr Lucifer
Beware
Beware.

Out of the ash
I rise with my red hair
And I eat men like air."

There ya go! Totally ferocious and boasting her emotional sovereignty over men, yet totally vulnerable, passionate and sensitive to a point that she took her own life.

(Sylvia Plath with Ted Hughes)

The most gentle people I think sometimes wear the heaviest armour.

I was always partial to poe. She was a little weird, kind of on the same plane as sneaker pimps, but less techno, more hip-hop. Kinda.
