But in a free society, people should have the freedom to meet with whom they want.

Yeah. It is.
But we live in a free society. People are free to be racist.
Just think for a second on how this could have an effect on your life.
The riots in LA had an effect on things in Mich. Like it or not, this could very well have effect your life.
