Because they have a persecution complex, they're always being "attacked" and "lied" about so their defense is bitterness and anger. They nor Trump are ever in the wrong and anyone saying otherwise is spreading propaganda and lying. They see their enemies (liberals) as subhuman and pathetic. Same also goes for the left as well in some instances but it is much more prevalent on the right going by these forums and many of my personal connections, family included.

Well the comment you're replying to doesn't have a whole lot to do with left-wing fanaticism, but your reply to it sure does.

That's the problem that many of us in the middle have right now: those of you on the left utterly and completely dismiss very real issues that came to be under Obama's watch with a casual hand wave and a derisive snort, then turn around and go right back to screaming about things that haven't even happened.

Might they happen? Sure, I suppose there's a chance Spicer will step up to the podium Monday and issue a statement saying "lulz gotcha we really are all queer hating Nazis, oh and we hate chicks and black folks too" and put on a white robe and hood but....a lot of you folks on the left talk as if that's already happened. And it makes you look shrill, misinformed, alarmist, and like you're just making # up because you can't figure out a legitimate platform to attack from. And you do this all while acting as if everything was sunshine and butterflies under Obama's administration.

Just the other day I had another member send me comment after comment about how I really really was better off under Obamacare, I just didn't realize I was. And my responses that no, I paid significantly more money under Obamacare than I had been before it came along fell on deaf ears because they were too busy trying to explain how some other person getting to pay a fraction of a percent less for care somehow actually benefited me.

I'm not going to pretend that the right has some moral high ground when it comes to attacking the President here, but I thought I'd point out one of the biggest behaviors of the left that causes problems for those of us who are neither right nor left.

The left is going through the same wave of hysteria that the right got when obama got elected, politics have become a sports game, people get so engaged to the point they foam at the mouth, my take is to give them less publicity so they can go back to their lives.

Admittedly there are some elements of Trumpism that are fanatical, except it pales in comparison.

Probably not so your assumption about where I was going with that is wrong. I didn't extend any further out than what my words say, they are prejudiced against other humans (liberals). It's akin to racism except on a political level.

The 2 are incomparable, you can't honestly say what Obama recieved is anywhere close to what Trump is recieving. With Trump what we are seeing is unprecedented, never before has anyone been demonized the way he has. Obama didn't have every celebrity calling for his impeachment, every major news source calling for his impeachment, and even advocating for his assassination.

Sorry to break it to you but Trump isn't this demon he's painted out to be, and if you actually took a look in a mirror at yourselves, a lot of you will probably start to see the same things you claim to hate. We all have a bit of Trump in us.

Demeaning others because of political affiliation is no different than demeaning someone for their racial affiliation other than the fact one has to do with skin color and the other with opinions. The two are most definitely comparable. What makes a celebrities opinion anymore valuable than a regular person's opinion? There were just as many people as a whole complaining about Obama as there are those complaining about Trump now. Fox News slammed Obama every single day, now the roles have reversed and it is the likes of CNN slamming Trump. Same exact scenario only flipped.
