And who can blame them? Trump’s presidency and the future of the country has been thrown into dystopian status by unaccountable journalists, intellectuals, unelected bureaucrats, and celebrities.

So it's their fault that Trump is gutting the Environmental Protection Agency, signed a bill that would permit coal companies to pollute water, has cut funding to the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and is censoring scientific reports from NASA and the NOAA?

Prophecies of fascism, internment camps, Nazis, religious persecution, race wars, nuclear war, civil war and Hitler, were beaten into the heads of trusting media consumers.

And that never happened while Obama was in office.

Perhaps this effete treatise would have had more standing if it hadn't been posted in the Political Mud Pit.

As it was, it is clear that OP means to churn up more bleating partisanship, rather than actually discuss the issues.

That said, there is much truth in the OP, if one can hear it.

Voters who repeatedly say"Trump speaks to me". With the way trump behaves this tells me the fact that being one of the least educated 1st world countries is starting to have serious implications.

Voters who think that a very expensive wall (1 billion for 48 miles is the last estimate I heard) will stop central Americans from over staying their visas. When we should be going after the companies that hire illegal aliens in the first place.

Voters who think that we need a better vetting process when in fact it already takes 2 years and multiple investigations by multiple agencies from across the world to even step foot into this country as a refugee. When we should be more focused on properly vetting the terrorists that are currently being put into office.

I have no problem saying Hillary should never be our president but I can easily say the same for Trump.

I agree that this could've been posted in a different forum, but I also disagree with your sentiment that OP just wanted some partisan war. I think he knew his OP would (for lack of a better word) trigger a lot of folks and the Mud-Pit allows for an unfiltered discussion which is a good thing if you ignore the obvious partisanship from either side.

The problem is constant obstruction and delays by both sides, the GOP did it to Obama, the Dems are doing it to Trump.
And then the sides fall into line. That's why I really admire the democrats that are going to break with their party to vote for Gorsuch. The same goes for the GOP guys who voted against Trump and Ryan on the health care bill. We need more independent voting going on. Then when something is actually good for America both sides can feel free to vote for it, or if it's bad against it.

I always find it interesting when the left justifies verbal attacks towards Trump. "They did it to Obama". Really? Not on this level: tv shows, movie stars, news stations, those in the government, local news stations and local papers etc etc. On a daily basis, nonstop. They have a bigger audience than some random guy on Facebook calling Obama a monkey or Michelle a man.

Reminds me of a drowning person, they have no energy, tired, but still moving around trying to grab anything.

The cult nonsense is also laughable. I remember when Obama was running for president, you had people on tv saying they wanted to vote for Obama: "because he was black". (ignoring his mother's apparently white) Both from whites and black by the way. Some even made him out to be the next Jesus Christ. I remember seeing a portrait of him to look like a saint with the religious halo. The countless interviews of the guy and very rarely would the media ask anything serious. One woman asked him "Where do you get your confidence from?" fawning over him.

Than they get angry over Trump using Twitter (something he's always done)
