Many other countries on this planet have been raped & pillaged too but haven't ended up like Africa. Now ask yourself why that is?

Because Africa and Africans are hated more, by those now in power.

And have been, for 0000s of years.

The problem is not Africa or Africans.

The problem; is the Worlds, and what the World has allowed happen to Africa, for 0000s of years.

Do you honestly believe; Africa 'failed' on its own? without 'help'?

Africa is not a Problem, Africa is the Victim.

The problem of Africa.

The problem of Africa, is that Africa; has been systematically rapped and abused for 1000s of years. Intentionally, by forces outside of Africa.

Africa is not a problem.

Its the ones that have been abusing the world systematically-for 1000s of years, that are the WORLDS! problem.

Africa is a victim, NOT the problem.

Aren't we all victims of the same people, though? I mean....my suffering is absolutely less than someone living near the horn of africa....but we both share a common enemy.

I disagree for the many various reasons I have quoted in other posts

There is only so long that people can keep on using the victim card

So blame everyone else except yourself?

Yes the rest of the would has blame but Africa itself has some too!

How can africa hope to pull itself together if it just sits around on it own lazy arse doing nothing playing the victim?

Only hope it has is to take responisbilty for the issues it does have and can change and move on from there.

Blame the west and whites is not going to acheive anything.

If one is a genuine victim.

Then pull that card always.

That's what that card is for.

"I/WE are the Victims, this is my card that proves it, please help".

What else can the victim do but pull that card?

No-one has run forward to help Africa for 0000s of years, but they have been queuing up for 0000s of years to rape her . . .

What use is a victim card? None

A victim card is useless as it doesnt solve any of the problems.

When you smash something to pieces, its very difficult for it to rebuild its self, especially when every time it makes any progress in rebuilding its self, its constantly being hit with a hammer.

If Africans had any power in Africa then; quite easily. But since Africa's have no power in Africa, it wont happen.

History proves who is to blame.

It should also be pointed out that those colonialists that many people seem to believe the Africans hate, are the very same people the African leaders go begging to for aid. The same people that they now have to import food from because they don't produce their own, the same people that now supply most of Africa with manufactured goods because they don't manufacture their own.

When I was in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) ex Prime Minister Ian Smith went shopping and was surrounded by large groups of Africans. The bodyguard protection were in panic mode thinking he would be assassinated. What happened? Mr Smith was begged by these people to please return to politics and take up rule again. The Africans detest being ruled by their own because they know full well what happens and what happens depends on which tribe gets into power, normally the power struggle is coupled with genocide. Black rule was imposed on Rhodesia it wasn't actually wanted by black or white and what happened afterwards is a Marxist failure of horrifying proportions. Smith had warned Britain repeatedly of the communist intent of Mugabe and was ignored and had the sad task of watching his ex country decline into guerilla warfare and Mugabe become a lunatic dictator who even his own people were terrified of. Zimbabwe is now a failed state with a failed economy and a languishing agricultural sector resulting in a population close to starvation. This has not come about because of the white man colonialist but as a direct result of incompetency and corruption in the halls of power.

Zimbabwe is now a wasteland

Step one is always admitting your own part.

So its the persons fault they got raped is it?

It is when the raper is also the raped.

When you smash something to pieces, its very difficult for it to rebuild its self, especially when every time it makes any progress in rebuilding its self, its constantly being hit with a hammer.

No culture has been spared the hammer. Most, if the hammer does not destroy the culture in it's entirety, rebuild. This has happened on every continent, and to every people.

If Africans had any power in Africa then, quite easily. But since Africa's have no power in Africa, it wont happen.

Even when Africans had power in Africa, they fell to outside powers.

History proves who is to blame.

It certainly does, and disagrees with you for the majority of the points.

Africa was never smashed to pieces...that's happened since colonialism ended

The colonised countries were built up from the ground then decimated thereafter. They had a choice to build on what was left or destroy it. Most conquered countries learn from their conquerors, you only have to look at how germany japan and others come through wars etc and become world leaders. Africa could have done the same but didn't

These countries had schools hospitals sewerage systems fresh running water electricity all built by the colonialists. They could have taken advantage of the strong starts they had over other countries but they did not. The leaders of Africa that came after colonialism decided to take advantage instead, take all the money they could and leave the infrastructure to decline

The Vitim card is what one 'pulls', when one is the Victim.

Its like a get out of jail free card - Please help I'm a Victim.

The fact that you are not defending the Victim, and are in fact saying, you cant pull the victim card because you are victim, is like saying you cant use a get out of jail free card when you have one.

You may be confused as to what a victim is?

victim
ˈvɪktɪm/
noun
noun: victim; plural noun: victims
a person and or country harmed, injured, or killed/destroyed as a result of a crime, or other event or action.

Sounds Like The World to me, not just Africa.

There is no such thing as a get out of jail free card.

And you still haven’t answered by question? How does the victim card help Africa? Does it stops the wars? Does it build infrastructure? Does it grow food? Does it stop the corruption? No.

If Africa had never been raped or been the Victim in the first place, the world wouldn't be on the cusp of the Apocalypse now.

Did you ever stop to think about that?

If Africa hadn't let it happen over and over again, they wouldn't be now begging for food and aid yet again. There isn't one African country that now stands out as a success and a force to be reckoned with on the world stage.

Time for them to step up abandon their communist leaders and become what they showed they could have been under colonialism

The answer to the question is far too complex to even begin adequately addressing in a book let alone a single post. There are so many dynamics involved and its a cumulation of so many issues that it just ends up being insanely convoluted and confusing.

Things like NGO's, governmental corruption, the IMF, corporate exploitation, religion, sectarianism, tribal politics, internal conflicts, the ramifications of colonialism, resource management etc all play a part.

When one is being held down by force/raped, one has no choice.

But to beg.

Only if one has given up. Many have been held down, and abused repeatedly. And many get back up an fight.

Welcome to life.

You call this life?

This world is barely living; when once, all and everything was thriving, in harmony.

You call this life?

Yes. As do most.

This world is barely living; when once, all and everything was thriving, in harmony.

The calling card of a person with no wisdom. If you think this world is barely alive, it is because you have never been. The world is flush with life. Some will survive, some will not. As has been happening since long before humanity, and will continue to happen long after humanity is nothing but dust.
