If Democrats within the intelligence committee wanted him to testified they would have pushed into congress by now.

Democrats have no power in the intelligence committees...beyond asking questions.

Witness lists, hearing schedules etc. are all at the discretion of the GOP Chairs..

That is why Nunes cancelling Yates hearing was controversial..
That is why Nunes not rescheduling Yates hearing is controversial.
ETC.. ETC..

Those are simple reality facts..

Whether Flynn testifies ...whether he is granted or not granted immunity...is up to the GOP majorities and GOP chairmen on the Senate and House panels.

That said....The reasons Immunity isn't being granted are one of the options I outlined on the previous page.

You also don't get to mess with democracy and get away with it.

Unless you are CNN, MSNBC, FOX, ABC..........

I still want to hear what he have to say, hopefully the DOJ will grant the immunity even if the intelligence committee is not taking his testimony.

He could always be issued a subpoena? Either Congressional or grand Jury?

If that wasn't productive they could always charge him with what they have and work it out in trial.

Pretty sure Flynn is looking for a deal though...

Interesting times.

Flynn's immunity request denied "at this time" by Senate Intelligence Committee according to NBC.

Either they don't need his testimony, or they want the option to prosecute the LT. General.

If necessary the justice department can prosecute Flynn regardless of his immunity status with Congress.

Innocent people don't ask for immunity.

Especially not high functioning government officials. He's not some teenager try to get out of a petty drug crime by snitching on the classmate who sold to him.

Utter BS. in fact Comey himself recently stated immunity from all the garbage going on is par for the course,

Everyone will get immunity like they always do. On all sides, all 5 of them.

They will get it regardless. They want to hang him. They don't need it. Take your pick.

Immunity from congress and justice are the same thing...

That's just the way the law works.

That is why Congress affords justice a first opinion on whether immunity is granted...because if they grant immunity, it could invalidate an ongoing investigation.

Your post seems exactly wrong?

It was in the news, is a reason why Obama fired him, now all those facts are coming out in the light one piece at a time.

When he was on the hearings for his appointment he forgot to talk about a lot of things.

His only motive in making that statement was to smear Hillary Clinton. He followed up with chanting lock her up.

Probably he just meant anyone seeking immunity is guilty. Because that's where he went with it every time.
The whitewashing around here is worthy of Tom Sawyer.

Nope..

Immunity is about big fish, little fish...

They will give immunity to Flynn only when they think it will lead them somewhere worth abandoning prosecuting him.

Big fish..little fish..

Flynn hasn't anted up properly .."a good story to tell" as his lawyer teased ...is not enough..

It's a tough place for Flynn to be in...he has to know the FBI has a case..

What is he willing to admit and who will it implicate?

Or is keeping his mouth shut worth the gamble of letting the FBI investigation run it's course.

You are still failing to be specific..

As I understand it...Pres. Obama asked for his resignation for multiple reasons..

What are you referring to?

Notice how no powerful Republicans are committing to defending Trump.

I know it's a little early to start the "I told you so" celebrations but......

I actually did notice that it seems no one is willing to risk their careers...that much is apparent. Also, in knowing that Obama serialized some of the Russia evidence so that it couldn't be buried at Langley, he may well be light years ahead of Trump. However, yes, the "i told you so's" are very premature.
