Or possessed by a bad illness. Slave laborers don't have medical, work brutal hours without proper protection against hazardous cleaning chemicals. She appears (to me) to be wracked either with coughing spells or sneezing. Half collapsed with exhaustion is more like it. Nobody comes to help her either.

"Get back to work or you'll go hungry."

Poor girl.

Shame on ATS'ers for not seeing it what it is.

That's a possibility too. Who knows.

The way she swings her arm up seems very unnatural and almost robotic like.

Pointing arm looks like CGI.

The arm kinda appears from thin air and vanishes too, look at it at slowest speed and you will see the arm appearing exactly on top of one different colored portion of the furniture, nothing moves behind her hair.

Also why the arm is more white than the rest of her?

Awesome video, i want a stay at home maid too, or a regular maid, does not even matter if she is a possessed witch that crawls on the walls, as long as she clean and wont steal/murder me i'm ok with it.

ETA: I would say the arm is cgi (the first pointing), the arm appears, the camera moves so we don't see the arm anymore but just before the arm is out of the field of view it blinks and its gone, when the camera returns her real arm is pointing in a different position, so i guess when they staged it, she could no move her arm fast enough, so they added the cgi arm to make it more unnatural and the camera moving to remove the cgi one before the real made the motion.

Well, it's odd. There seems to be an awful lot of this sort of behavior going on. I am not sure if it's just an attention "fad." The rampant stupidity. Drugs. Mental illness. Or, maybe there really is something going on we don't understand. I just frankly do not know.

The employer of this woman needs to help her with mental healthcare. I doubt she watched too much of the Ring and is acting out on that. Hope she gets help.

It looks a lot like so many scenes from horror movies, it's hard to believe it isn't faked. Still, she could be possessed, too. Any details on where it was taken, and any witnessed behavior on her part, might help. If faking, is she trying to be fired? Seems like that would make faking less likely.

Not really sure what to think, on this one.

If she's not acting to get out of her job and if this is not a hoax, it is probably just sleep walking, possibly due to stress. My mom used to sleepwalk and I occasionally do. We both have freaked out other family members because we are interacting with our dreams, but ambulatory and vocalizing while doing so. And I have growled, spoken nonsensical words that sound like someone doing a poor impression of a demon, mainly because in my dream I was probably having a normal conversation but it just comes out all wrong when sleepwalking. Fortunately it's a rare occurrence and happens once or twice a year at most, usually when I am stressed or had disruptions to my sleep due to allergies or going to bed too early instead of my normal bedtime. My poor husband is very understanding when it does happen. It is very creepy looking if the sleepwalker isn't fully capable of controlling their speech and motions. My mom would vary. Sometimes you could not even tell she was asleep. She spoke normally and moved normally but her eyes were kind of odd looking. Like she was looking through you than at you. But when she wasn't able to control her speech and movement properly she moved like a zombie. It's creepy, but you get used to it if you have a sleepwalker in the family. It seems to become more rare as we age. I don't think my mom has had an incident in over 15 years.

Because there are hardly any posts in this part of the site. Posts from two years ago still appear on the first page so it's easy to miss that some threads are well over a year old. This forum has really died and the site is dominated by politics now. The really interesting thought provoking Fortean type weirdness has now found a new home on YT, I guess. A few years ago it was so busy here I could barely keep up. Most of my own paranormal experiences are in the past since I moved out of my weird house so I barely have much to contribute, myself.

I never saw the Japanese "Ringu". I saw the American version. I thought the "maid" looked a little like one of those Japanese vengeance ghosts. They have a name for them but I forget what it's called. My mom claimed to have had a run-in with one when she was young and visiting a friend living in Japan. She had arrived at the friend's house and the friend wasn't in. I think she fell asleep while waiting for her friend to come back and she said a dripping of water on her face woke her. She said she woke up and this pale woman with long black wet hair was leaning over her and the water was dripping from her hair onto my mom's face. My mom screamed bloody murder and ran out of the house.

My mom had a lot of ghost stories. She claimed they were all true, but I can't be sure. It's possible, because I know she has had some times in our life together where she demonstrated some psychic ability. If I were to ask her about the stories now I don't think she would remember half of them. Her health has declined a lot in the last couple of years.

Can someone point out the "paranormal" part in this video??? I've watched it 2 times now, and can't find the "paranormal" part. Did I blink and miss it or something? Did something paranormal occur when they were editing the CGI arm movements or amateur camera effects? Help me out. Please point out the PARANORMAL part.

2017 and dude has to record his video surveillance off a computer screen, to upload to youtube.com, a computer utility.

Dont trust anyone who records open air off their own monitor. I would rather befriend the girl from Ring than people who do that out of pure laziness.

I think the paranormal aspect was by inference. If you don't know this was a scene from a movie, you could see strange parallels to real life surveillance footage of a young Asian woman seen acting very oddly in an elevator prior to her improbable death in a water tank in a creepy hotel. I'm sorry I don't recall the specifics of that case.

Update: Found it, the girl was Elisa Lam and the story is a very eerie one. I'm not sure how reliable this site is, so take it with a grain of salt: vigilantcitizen.com...
