Believed th3n wanted to believe and finally do not believe in it anymore.

Past 20 years, I have studied more astrophysics and less flying saucers. It led me to understand better how the Universe works and the ramification of interstellar travels.

To think back when I thought that the Government would be able to silence/hide aliens that have mastered such technological complexities makes me laugh now.

I am confident they exist somewhere in our galaxy.
In " flying saucers"/triangles etc.. Here on earth..? Not so much.

Mindfulness is not perspective, compassion and empathy to care about all others not oneself is perspective, thinking about it introspection.

Mindfulness is simply being present in awareness not lost in thought but lost in action... even if just sitting there.

Clearly everything I am saying is wrong... in your perspective. Maybe you're right and I have no idea what I'm taking about and you have the truth about all things that my little mind just can't conceive of.

That sounds a suspicious amount like an Avrocar, which just so happened to be made in Canada. I wouldnt doubt 15 years later they'd develop quieter ones. What we know of is merely the "failure", not the success:

I like you, a lot.

Aww *blush* I like me a lot too, louise!

And I think BigBro is making more of a semantic-philosophical argument rather than suggesting that he could live without water, but that's just how I interpreted it. " does calling the animal known as a cat make it a cat? Not in the slightest" meaning that things exist but are not some set parameter... i.e. it wasnt a cat until we humans created the parameters, it just was.

Folks they were real, no lights from the ground or similar.

B-24s were the pioneers of advanced electronic warfare. They carried radar systems and so what you've said just lends credence to what BASSPLYR said.

This is coming from someone who used to believe in the Feuerball theory.

I understood his message as "mind control doesn't work on people who don't believe in it like in that Hollywood movie about the girl and the voodoo."

Cause that's what he wrote.

And I agree to a point.

But I think it's dangerous to place all responsibility on the individual- cause if mind control works only on people who believe in it, then now it's their fault for believing in it and the manipulative behavior of others is ok? And I'm not a fan of that perspective at all. And again I'm just using the term "mind control" loosely.

And also I believe certain types of mind control work on all types of people who don't even know what's happening to them, don't believe in mind control, deny being vulnerable to hypnotism, and etc. because it's just that sneaky.

Like in Mind Control with Derren Brown? The episode with the Graphic Artists is a good one.

You are borrowing from a psychologist to state your views and opinion when they are hers. She got them from Buddhism and twisted the meaning to fit psychology. I just straightened the meaning back to Buddhist.

What is your perspective? You told me hers. See how that works... you may have accepted it as yours because it made sense... but really you just picked up and carried her perspective as your own.

You have eyes, ears, a nose and a mouth and sensation... are you also going to let someone tell you what you see, hear, smell, taste and touch? Or does that only occur with what you think?

Baddogmas metcafe is awesome thread, and you are a awesome contributor to it. I read it still today even though I post less in it.
Is this conversation kinda for the cafe?

That's a large amount of interactions!
Did the abduction start it? Or did that come later.
I do hear that people who claim to have had the abduction experience sense or see these anomalies more than anyone. What are the theories on that?
I guess I'm asking, why not everyone?

Ah I must have glossed over that part. Well then that would make him a proponent of the (cant remember if it was called Cold Control Theory or Mindful Intent Theory) of hypnosis, that people must 'consent' unconsciously to be hypnotised.

While it has some merit, there is also evidence that people can be hypnotised despite resistance, just like you can fall asleep while trying to study.

Literally EVERYONE can be hypnotised, but everyone is susceptible to different degrees. 1 in 5 people can reach the deepest somnambulist state. Most people believe that it is based on stupidity or gullibility, so they deny being susceptible, purely out of egotism. But people hypnotise themselves to mild degrees daily without being aware. Like when you drive for a minute and suddenly realise you weren't paying the slightest attention.

I went two weeks without water and food and then those deciding my hunger or thirst... guilted me to eat and drink "I am going to be hurt; if you don't want to eat or drink this food I made."

Guess what? After a week the desire to do either simply disappears.

You will always find that all roads lead to Germany, Eugenics, New Age movement, globalists. The standard conspiracy fodder, except with actual ties. Did you ever wonder why the New Age cults promote belief in Blonde Aryan Aliens coming to save humanity from itself?

That is a interest concept. You think the 'Nordics' fad is a possible offshoot of the Vrill society hoopla? I just thought Billy Meir was a mad Swiss.

I've gone without food for 10-12 days on three separate occasions, and you're right, after about 3 days the desire disappears. I dont believe you about the water though.

Yeah... I have been concerned about off topic for awhile; but is it rude to not answer. The thread does have a general chitchat feeling... but I can understand the desire to avoid chitchat by putting it where you have, even though it is honestly chit chat from the OP.

My apologies; no tact was really needed in the give a compliment and then say what you really feel to avoid any conflict, doing such is actually more condescending to people than just saying what you think/feel. But seeing how quite a few are happy to just railroad right over what one may think or feel and take insult instead of honestly communicate? Again understood and point taken.

Bye and happy Sunday

Billy Meier im not as familiar with (other than his hoax photos) but it is very probable. A better example might be the story of Adamski. He was actively being manipulated into the lie. He was taken out into the desert by spooks. His 'aliens' were tall blonde men and it didnt ring alarm bells that aliens look exactly human. He was led into a spaceship, blonde men gave him "strangely colored drinks" and the spaceship took off, even though he felt like it wasnt moving... yet he saw stars moving past the windows so he believed it.

To me it sounds like CIA men took him to a strange building, dropped acid and tried to convince him that blonde people were superior. Once you accept that the nazis joined the highest ranks OSS/CIA in Paperclip then it just sounds like a convoluted way to continue the doctrine without violence. That is to say, the nazis realised they could not win by physical means and decided to use psychological warfare to manipulate society into desiring their doctrines.

Vril Society women were the prototype for the modern Celebrity. Im writing a thread up about that right now, but I cant find the brochure photos I used to have so its slow going.

Nah no need to apologize nor leave, Metaphysics and UFOlogy in 2017 are fairly intertwined so that is a valid discussion, it's an easy line to get pushed over into pure metaphysics and psychological debate.
Understandable, just asking we keep an eye on it

The Vrill society lead psychic Maria was beautiful and used her long hair as an antennae to speak with ET.
The most high ranks of the Nazi party were part of this sex magic occult.
It was based on a book written in the 19th century, interesting how a cult was able to form from a work of fiction. ( scientology jokes later)

Considering the Vril history, I suppose it is no great leap to make the assumption that todays ufo cults may have risen from myth also.

I think Billy Meier was the first to talk about Nordic type ET's, I may be incorrect.

Yep, only 4 of the 5 of them had long hair though. They had different hair colours and styles specifically to appeal to a broader audience - the GI Joe tactic. It's the prototype for the pop band, where every member has a distinct personality/look.

They knew that sexual appeal could be used to attract members, just like the New Age cults in America later on. They used pornography/suggestive photos in their brochures to incite interest. They even pioneered the photoshopped model! In this case they used paintings. What you just posted is a painting, believe it or not!

And you are incorrect, Blavatsky is the earliest (at least as far as i've found). Although her connections from the Venusians manipulating the Aryan Root Race are a bit more convoluted.

I actually heard last night that there were 4 other witnesses to the sighting of the "parade" of orange light ufo's.Our friend Nick is visiting and last night as we were sitting in the yard,i spoke to him of this sighting and pointed to where in the sky it occurred.

He then told us,the son of another friend of his, also saw it that night. The guy was out in the fields with 3 friends that evening,so all 4 saw it.Here's the thing, the young guy told Nick he was so happy and amazed to see it Again. He had seen that exact sighting when he was a kiddie,it was so much on his mind back in the day that he would draw pics of how it looked.

So in this region,at least twice that parade of ufo's appeared.I'm just feeling fortunate to have heard of more people seeing it that evening, and of course one of those 4 witnesses having seen about a decade before also, when he was a child. That part i find very intriguing.
