So my answer to the question would be, our culture did not come from us but from the Annunaki progenitors, who may be directly related to the modern visitors. And these modern visitors are mostly of two types, scientist and traders. Maybe they trade in humans or other Earth life forms and do not respect the culture. Maybe the scientist respect the culture but must take it apart in their labs to see how it works.

That is definitely a possibility
But if it was aliens visiting us back then, and they tried to influence our culture. Then something like the 10 commandments would have come from them, right? Like "Thou shalt not kill" etc.
Do we follow those commandments? not really, even the church couldnt care less about those simple rules, so i wouldnt exactly say that is a part of our culture. Not anymore

My point was just, that if i went to a planet full of dinosaurs, i wouldnt try to talk to them, cause iam smart enough to know they would properly just try to eat me, and i wouldnt want that.
But it is true, i might kill or capture them for research/survival etc. But i wouldnt make a big think out of a "disclosure" and showing myself in sky for all of them to see, what would be the point in that?

You do not even have to see an alien craft to know that they have been here. For proof all you have to do is LOOK AT THE LIES. And to do that, you need look no farther than Roswell.

First the truth, Col. William Blanchard was so excited he sent out a press release to let everyone know they had discovered a flying disk!

Then the first lie, Gen. Roger Ramey covered up the truth by changing the flying disk to a weather balloon.

When the first lie could not hold water they created the second lie, it was a Mogul balloon.

When the second lie could not hold water they deflected with the third lie, there were crash test dummies!

They lied about what was over Los Angeles in 1942 and they have been lying ever since.

Yes, there may be no point at all for our current visitors to show themselves. They seem to like to lurk around in the dark and do their thing, keeping their involvement with us limited to only those they chose.

I see no reason for them to upset the apple cart. I do not think they are here to push us on to greater things.

Disclosure for them may only be a bargaining chip to keep our leaders under control.

Sure if not for this troubling little detail.
The government...is made up of people.
And people love to talk. People can't help sharing. It's in our nature.

Ok, so let me get this one straight. You believe that governments are open and honest and don't have any secrets??? Seriously, what planet have you just come from.

So if everything is so open perhaps you can tell me all about the secret black budget programmes that have billions of dollars spent on them, after all it's only people involved right!

Perphaps you can tell me what all those blanked out words say, the ones from the UFO files that have been released by the US government??

You really think the government or doesn't keep secrets? Pah, that's one of the ill thought out comments I've heard on this site ever!

Personally i think that religions were crucial to our evolution, but now i feel that because religions haven't evolved, they are now hindering us, we dont really need the 10 commandments anymore because of the morals it has instilled in us, and we are more peaceful and caring animals now, but there is the second biggest human fear of "Change" that also stops us from advancing. but i am saying this from my POV and i am in the minority, i dont know the numbers of people that believe in what their religions say compared to those that think we are not alone or even see it as a possibilty for that matter, im guessing the "im not aloners are in the minority"

so imagine a Trump press conference tomorrow with him saying "we are not alone"
"if" we are not alone, the reasons they aren't telling us will prob range from group to groups in the know, but the one reason that will be the same will be the fear of how we react, remember this, "there are billions of us" that dont know, and if the information creates chaos, the people that have known, they will be the first blamed.

im not sure if remote viewing is real, but if it is, then they will know how the masses will react, so possibly we are getting soft disclosure till the time is right!

There are no aliens visiting this rock.
They more than likely exist and wonder about if we exist.
The planet's are just too far apart.
Come on.

When I was a kid, I thought about how cool it would be to fly off in a rocket to see aliens, or have them visit us in their flying saucers. Then science -- the great buzzkill -- showed me just how big the universe is, and how small Earth is in it, and showed me how limited mankind is physically and intellectually.

So even if there are aliens out there somewhere (and there is no good evidence to suggest that there are) we're so far apart that they might as well be hypothetical. And if they have visited or are visiting, then we are very likely never going to be able to understand their reality enough to constructively interact with them.

Yes but if disclosure puts them a shift of consciousness away, then that disclosure could be like opening pandoras box!

imagine if they could prove that other dimensions exist, and every phenomenon is explained by glitches in the matrix, or moments of heightened consciousness or perception.

your post reminded me of what elon musk said.
www.express.co.uk...

He added: “If there are super intelligent aliens out there they are probably already observing us.

“We are just not smart enough to realise it.

"Any advanced alien civilisation that was at all interested in populating the galaxy, even without exceeding the speed of light, at say 10 or 20 per cent of the speed of light, you could populate the entire galaxy in 20 million years max.

“That is nothing in the grand scheme of things.”

now thats a good way of looking at it!

There are a number of different races, capable of interstellar travel. They arent all united, allied, with a unanimous decision about Earth man and what to do regarding our introduction to the galactic big picture.

They have their own problems, including protecting their home worlds and systems, their biology and evolution, etc.

Keep in mind, the possibility of Andromedans and extremely advanced races from other galaxies.

We are on the cusp of higher awareness of the heavens strictly due to our own technology (james webb scope, kepler project) and accumulated knowledge.

As far as im concerned, the veil is lifting steadily.

Hello Dave,

Good old Stanton Friedman's opinions are always a good topic for debate. He's been promoting the ETH (Extra-Terrestrial Hypothesis for longer than most of us on here have been alive). But maybe that's his problem now. I'll come back to that later.

In general these are his points of view. He published these on his website in 1997.

As a nuclear physicist who has had a serious interest in flying saucers since 1958, I have reached four major conclusions:

1. The evidence is overwhelming that Planet Earth is being visited by intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft. In other words, SOME UFOs are alien spacecraft. Most are not.

2. The subject of flying saucers represents a kind of Cosmic Watergate, meaning that some few people in major governments have known since July, 1947, when two crashed saucers and several alien bodies were recovered in New Mexico, that indeed SOME UFOs are ET. As noted in 1950, it’s the most classified U.S. topic.

3. None of the arguments made against conclusions One and Two by a small group of debunkers such as Carl Sagan, my University of Chicago classmate for three years, can stand up to careful scrutiny.

4. The Flying Saucer story is the biggest story of the millennium: visits to Planet Earth by aliens and the U.S. government’s cover-up of the best data (the bodies and wreckage) for over fifty years.

Since 1967 I have lectured on the subject “Flying Saucers ARE Real” at more than 600 colleges and over 100 professional groups in all fifty US states, nine Canadian Provinces, twelve cities in England and nine in other countries, with only eleven hecklers. I have also appeared on hundreds of radio and TV shows. Overall, I have probably answered about 35,000 questions about UFOs and secrecy.

See : www.stantonfriedman.com...

Let's look at those points one by one:

Is the evidence overwhelming that Planet Earth is being visited by intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft?

Sorry Stan but no it isn't.
There is overwhelming evidence that UFOs exist. We have plenty of confirmation they do. Project Bluebook is the prime example. There are even some solid cases where there is trace evidence, radar evidence and photographic and video evidence to support witness testimony. But nothing proves UFOs are intelligently controlled extraterrestrial spacecraft.

The subject of flying saucers represents a kind of Cosmic Watergate….

After WWII as the Cold War tensions mounted and "flying saucer" reports increased there was undoubtedly a campaign in the United States (spreading later to other nations) to restrict the UFO pandemonium. It began with a debunking of cases with simple explanations. Eventually witnesses were ridiculed and the media has often treated the topic with a 'knowing smirk' ever since.

But nothing leads to anything other than there has been a lot of deception. It does not mean ET is visiting planet earth. Even though Stanton wants you to think that.

None of the arguments made against conclusions One and Two by a small group of debunkers such as Carl Sagan, my University of Chicago classmate for three years, can stand up to careful scrutiny.

This is a deception in itself. It is not possible to prove a negative. It is up to Stanton to actually 'prove' his own assertions that ET is visiting planet earth. What does he offer up? Nothing. He prefers to shout down the sceptics.

The Flying Saucer story is the biggest story of the millennium: visits to Planet Earth by aliens and the U.S. government’s cover-up of the best data (the bodies and wreckage) for over fifty years.

Many people are familiar with some aspects of the Roswell story. Despite that the facts of that story remain hazy to this day. We know something crashed to Earth. We know the USAAF recovered the debris. We don’t know for sure what it was and we don’t know for certain that alien bodies were recovered. In fact the Roswell AAF base intelligence officer, Jesse Marcel, never mentioned any alien bodies in his testimony. People like Glenn Dennis did but were discredited much later because their evidence fell apart under scrutiny.

Now don't get me wrong Stanton Friedman has done an awful lot to engage debate, soften attitudes and open minds to the possibility that there is life out there somewhere. But he's long been locked in the past in an era now long gone. Who cares if he's only had 11 hecklers in his 101 years of lecturing. I'm sure the Pope could claim better figures. It doesn't mean his religion has any base in reality though. He can't prove God exists.

Unfortunately Friedman's whole approach is to argue against the sceptics and debunkers. Yes he may have got Phil Klass to write him a cheque because he proved a date format and typewriter font were in use in 1947. But that still doesn't prove that ET is visiting planet earth. In fact he's been playing the same old song for too long and stood still. Attacking someone else's point of view is his tactic because it diverts attention from his own lack of proof.

Science is rapidly advancing and catching up. Mars missions, and probes to the outer solar system are giving us more and more information. We have also found many exo-planets in the goldilocks zones around stars in our near neighbourhood. Who do you think is going to reveal alien life to us first? Professional ufo entertainers like Friedman or the scientific community?

Yeah . . . . .

I am not sure if super intellegent aliens are out there, comparatively speaking. Some may have bigger and older libraries of knowledge. Some might pool knowledge in collectives somehow.

But I think there is a check on expansion and advancement. Getting too clever for one's own good.

1942 is far enough back in history that we can perhaps reverse engineer some of the events from the period.
This unfortunate lady apparently fell from a UFO as there was no building there at the time stated.
They were experimenting with color and other exotic film back then, otherwise the photographer would have needed a brilliant lighting source at that shutter speed.

no i dont, i think aliens would create a chaos never been seen before, and religions would crumble just like they predict then out of the chaos we would be more unified and a stronger under the one belief, one religion centering around one rule........... the golden rule.......... but thats prob not gonna happen either!

I hear ya. I can tell you right now If it did happen, it would be completely fake. It's easy to herd sheep, very easy. It's like snapping your fingers with one hand while pointing in the opposite direction with the other hand. You won't notice it unless you're looking for it. Golden would be good but unrealistic at this point.
