They didn't kidnap nor purchase the boys..

No, the parents delivered their children to summer camp, free. They were too young to understand what was happening to them, just like you seem to minimize any but your own definition of what a ring is.

Human trafficking doesn't necessarily include movement or 'trafficking' victims around. Exploiting those who come from disadvantaged circumstances or ignorant parents that are deceived by groups of people, like the scouts, churches, orphanages, schools, juvenile hall. This is where they seek employment to take advantage of children they know they can get alone. They also tell their buddies.

In that sense it is definitely kidnapping when they take a child into a closet or bathroom, etc.

For the victims it doesn't matter, but for defining it as a pedophile ring....

I think the first option is a ring , and the second option is not.

With a pedo ring I think money changing hands some form of harem to house the children , with molesters and children being added and subtracted from the group..

Like with a worst case scenerio adult prostitution ring.. maybe where they are human trafficking as well.

For example the kinda thing like pizza gate where they would be ordering prostitutes for parties, keeping a haram or having bought off more than one (maybe more than 2) parent to knowingly drop there kid off for sex them pick them up after..

That's what I think of when I hear "pedophile ring.

When I hear peophile ring , I think like a child version of a prostitution ring and all the various ways those are run.

I haven't looked up the one that looks interesting, with the Italian or Russian name from page 1.

But the rest do not fit the definition of a child version of a prostitution ring , as pizza gate was sold.

Seems to me they are rightfully busting up child pornography rings, and selling it as a pedophile ring as click bait.

There were so many examples of the media selling the bust of a child porn web site as "breaking up a pedophile ring" that I couldn't find any actual examples..

Which lead me to wonder if there even are any..
