Right-leaning Libertarian, but just call me a deplorable.

Where do you fit on the freedom meter?

Me? General Anarchist. Most folks in this world are dimwitted assholes, so we can't really leave it to them, though. Despite my ability to figure out how to do the right thing, it doesn't seem to be a common ability. So while im capable of General Anarchist personally, its just not what the world is ready for yet.

I'm basically above the left/right paradigm. I know government is corrupt and doesn't care about the people. I abstained from voting for many years because I don't wish to support the same system. By voting, all you do is enable them to continue with corruption.

When true hard working down to earth Americans that are grounded in reality get a chance, then I'll be the first in line to vote. While rich bankers and ceo's continue to lord over the system, then I do not participate. Its bad enough I'm extorted for my hard earned money to keep this disaster afloat.

Socialist here. I'm often lumped-in with the liberals/progressives, but I tend to actually have a traditional liberal-libertarian view on many issues.

Socialist for the gov, then you are a Progressive...... Not socialist gov might be a conservative.. Limited gov , Tea Party/Libertarians. Totalitarians Dem/Rep..... THIS IS THE situation we have now.

i'm a fiscal conservative
but liberal on most social issues.
i'm okay with social programs as long as the program makes fiscal sense.

Anyone here not a conservative or progressive?

Just wondering. There seems to be only progressives and conservatives posting here. Anybody else? Seems the message board turned into a hero-worshiping Trump cult as of late.

Where are the liberalists(aka classical liberals)?

Where are the socialists?

Where are the anarchists?

Where are the minarchists?

Where are the greens?

Politically, I'm a stateless individual, but my views are a mix of classical liberalism, rational conservatism, secular minarchist, with a touch of anarchist and nihilist for flavor.

But I also self-identify as a gay black communist Nazi for Jesus for census purposes.

How about scale back the state over time and slowly replace it with artificial intelligence?

Isn't that already being done?

Well; there is me. I dont identify as any of the above. So whats the matter?

IMO people are blinded by the mist of "everything would be allright if MY mob was in power." do they not see that they all owned and controlled by the same people?

The smart way to keep people passive and obedient is to strictly limit the spectrum of acceptable opinion but allow a very lively debate within the boundaries of that spectrum. – Noam Chomsky

“Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind.

And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights. Rather the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded by patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader and gladly so.

How do I know? For this is what I have done and I am Caesar.” – Julius Caesar

"The technotronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities. ”

― Zbigniew Brzeziński, Between Two Ages: America's Role in the Technetronic Era

I prefer logic over politics... though, at times, that does not get recognized on the web.

Have a nice day!

I dont constraint myself to anyone party or political ideology.

I lean towards libertarian values now because when a govt is so rampant with corruption and special interest it makes no sense to make govt bigger.

As a primary libertarian individual under todays situatuon, i actually felt sanders was the better of the crockpots this election. i felt sanders would have brought the most important issue of corruption and special interest ro the forefront versus the other two bozos.

However i think we already had this discussion as to why. Sadly sanders appeared to be a sellout from the beginning.

We are fd ,becuase people have to much loyalty to their party. Enough loyalty to the point they prefer for the country to fail than make their party look bad by holding them accountable.

To keep this comment on point, I'd just like to say I don't think you need worry about ACA. The idiot Republicans will never be able to come up with a bill..............its just to complicated for their pea brains to deal with. And you have to remember that the way Republicans think, its kind of Reptilian.....they have to figure out how to gladden the very most corporate and big business donors when considering any legislation while at the same time figuring out how to protect the local big business and land owning wealthy in their states back home. Its an awesome juggling act and it results in their fighting tooth and nail amongst themselves.

On another note..........as far as meds and dental work are concerned......you should seriously look at going to Mexico for that. The service is far better and less expensive, I mean orders of magnitude less expensive. And in case you hadn't noticed, the quality of care in the US is in the toilet; the more we have to pay, the less we get. My neighbor was shot in the head by his wife, went to the hospital; sat around for 3 hours. They took him in for tests and sent him home with aspirin and as he was ushered out, the Doctor said.....don't worry, we'll have the test results back in a week or two and then we'll know what's wrong with you. My other neighbor just told me she went to the doctor with chronic bronchitis and after a brief examination the doctor told her there wasn't anything she could prescribe for the condition.

Hopefully the liberals socialists and anarchists can finally fade into the obscurity they so richly deserve! Haven't we had more of their asinine ideas and attacks on other people's freedom in he last 8 years than we need for an entire lifetime?

How about "wall flower at the dance" party?

Labels suck. I like punk rock so what I did at the dance was hang out. Occasionally, dance to someone cool like Bob Marley or the Cars.

My voter ID keeps me out both parties' voting booths. So if one has a decent candidate that seems remotely human I am banned from voting for her/him unless I join their party. That is where the problem starts. The results are monkeys in cage hurling invectives back and forth...

No party affiliation. But I will vote Anarchist if allowed. Seems to follow my punk rock tendencies. Anarchist Wallflower.
