We know where Nunes got the reports.

And the committee has still been presented with...nothing.

You're thinking that the Trump White House found some Obama letterhead left behind, and typed up FAKE reports to cover their azz for the tweeted wiretap accusations? Hmmmm.. Interesting thought.

What's interesting is that you fabricated that from what I had posted, which said nothing of the sort.

Oh well. If at first you don't succeed, just make # up.

Goes to show how 10 people can look at a cloud and see 10 different shapes.

Exactly, but while all ten of them are creating shapes in their minds, they dismiss the guy saying that it is just a cloud.

If that were an Art Class, he'd get an "F"! :-)

True. Logic and reason have very little do with art.

At least you acknowledge that.

Yeah, one of the myriad of intelligence agencies that operates under the banner of the Executive Branch. Again, what of it? It is inconvenient to the speculative theory that "Nunes got it from the White House" to point out the fact that all of the nation's intel agencies are "Executive Branch" agencies.

You are correct.

The CNN article has been updated, and its title changed. The first version strongly implied that the information was provided to Nunes by the White House. We do not know if that is the case.

To my defense, my OP and title did express some skepticism.

You know as well as I do that the CIA is under the Executive Branch (granted with oversight powers being also controlled by the Congressional Branch) and the FBI is part of the Justice Department, which is in the Executive Branch... Any highest clearance classified documents would be housed in, technically speaking, an Executive Branch location simply by being in the possession of the CIA, FBI, HLS, Justice Department, and the NSA via their being a part of the Department of Defense.

Stop trying to turn something which is perfectly normal into a conspiracy, Phage.

Do you not know, Phage, that Dennis Montgomery, dubbed the "CIA/NSA Whistleblower" and granted official whistleblower status, has turned over his evidence to the FBI? (Which is under the "White House" umbrella) And that Montgomery has also turned it over to Devin Nunes. And that Montgomery (via his attorney) publicly challenged Nunes to address that evidence appropriately or that evidence would be made public? And that this occurred last week, at the same time as all of Nunes' questionable actions?

NSA/CIA Whistleblower Dennis Montgomery: Trump, Chief Justice, and 156 Judges were spied on

Now you do. How does that figure into your theory?

Unless Epshteyn was the reason why Nunes was having communication with the White House.

Nunes also told Blitzer that he'd had the information for quite a while.

Sooo. He had a secret meeting to get information he already had?
But then, he had not expected to see what he saw?

The man seems a little confused.

Nunes said on CNN's "The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer" that he had to view the classified documents in an Executive Branch location because they intelligence community had not yet provided them to Congress.
"The Congress has not been given this information, these documents, and that's the problem," Nunes said. "This is Executive Branch."

www.cnn.com...

This sounds like his scoop originated directly from the White House. Curiouser and Curiouser. The White House had been withholding information from the committee and decided to release it secretly to ....guess who?

So the Executive branch only consists of the White House?

I thought there were a lot of ither buildings in that branch....
Like the FBI headquarters.
Which wing of the White House does the NSA perform all of its operations from? The CIA? The DIA? Hell the whole Pentagon is apparently in the White House I guess?
My point?
Maybe the info came from some part of the Executive Branch that is not the White House.

CNN uses that old trick a lot.

Sensationalize the fake parts and let it "sink in", then change it after people automatically believed the fake parts.

And many times, the "updated" stuff is BS as well !!
