'WASHINGTON, D.C., March 22, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — A leading anti-pornography organization is recommending that Attorney General Jeff Sessions “vigorously enforce” anti-obscenity laws to “curb the demand” for child sex trafficking, child sexual abuse, prostitution and other social ills.'

And this no doubt looks like an indirect attack on the HMD industry and other technologies like the budding personal robot industry. Let's stop trying to pretend that some certain others feel threatened because it's removing a major bargaining chip of theirs, and they are simply trying to curb stomp it.

Child abuse is not caused by porn, it's a ridiculous idea.

It's just another conservative attempt to make people miserable so they'll turn to religion and then they can control them.

What's an anti-obscenity law?

I am pretty sure that if porn disappeared tomorrow morning the rapes would skyrocket.

Rape has nothing to do with anything . I think they'll just simply will use those devices to suit their needs regardless of what silly little restrictions they will try to place on them.
But they will no doubt make an attempt to blacklist those for doing so, resulting in some sort of civil war.

Um Could you provide a link to the actual article? I went to the lifesitenews.com site and did not see the article that you reference.

Touch my porn sites, I'd be tempted to make it so you drink your meals through a straw. Permanently.

Go enforce your views on yourselves.

The law that "BEEPS!" out the increasing use of curse words on every TV show, is an anti-obscenity law, isn't it?

No. That's not a law, actually. It a "standards" thing.

I think.

It's increasingly being used as a tool to keep the viewer's attention..even when there was no curse word to trigger the BEEP.

I never thought about that.
So, they aren't actually saying a "bad word", but in the mind of the audience it could be. So...beep.
The more beeps the more prurient, without actually being prurient. Implied prurience. Clever.

'Trump admin must ‘vigorously enforce’ obscenity laws to stop sex trafficking: anti-porn group ' was the title, just google it

I risked using that word 'anti-blank' and avoiding links from fear of getting banned .....yes really.

Unless you're talking about blocking child porn to reduce trafficking then this won't work and I'm pretty sure we already do that.

Blocking normal porn will have no effect on Child Trafficking or other Child sex Crimes because normal porn is adults and not kids. Normal adults who enjoy adults are the ones views the normal adult porn.

People trafficking kids for sex aren't into normal porn in the first place.

Blocking normal porn is only going to piss off a bunch of normal adults who enjoy adult sex.

That's the problem
Enjoying sex is bad. Sex is strictly for procreation.

It says so, right there in the Bible. Somewhere. I'm sure it does.

Yeah. I think the priests have a difficult time finding where that's written in the bible too.

The evils best tool against humanity is to destroy the innocence and in this world innocence is already in such a state that its treated like bad thing to get rid of early so they are obviously children that evil mostly focus now days and it shows by increasing number of children ending up as slaves and indeed it means increasing number of demand for children..
If there were some 3 million children constantly on the flow of traffickers (UK/US) ,over few years ago and it has only been raising numbers since, indeed we are between hell and another type of hell.

Sadly we have followers as a leaders in this world and they made sure that evil have quite "free hands" in this world.

Well, there are some very "free hands" in Washington these days.

Ba - dum - tish!

In all seriousness romilo, this all sounds like some poorly researched BS to me. Its a totally different classification of individual, who involves themselves in the process of, or the produce derived from human trafficking and child exploitation. Simply put, to suggest that for want of a better phrase, "normal" pornography and the product of illegal exploitation of minors are the same, issue from the same organisations or have anything to do with one another in the least, is to be EXTREMELY misinformed.

Sessions is a jack @$$ who might be the downfall of trump...

He has said SINCE THE
ELECTION that he was going to go after recreational pot.

Which will instantly make just about every moderate and younger trump supporter turn instantly

Many things could be but i cannot but doubt about their honest and truthful intentions to tackle human trafficking in general.

I get that it is quite obvious, most highest players in our game has the power over these things, aka it is part of plans, aka they in bed with evil and have been for who knows how long aka followers as leaders.

That is also obviously part of their plans to use pornography to introduce minors as sexual objects too, just take a honest look of the popular mainstream fashion styles in many areas in societies. There seem to be very obvious patterns to show these tricks they use to play the game of us. In fact my crazy mind sees thickness of real evilness on the ways of modern world, not just by random foos but our very own leaders of many areas.
