Funny, don't see middleweights wanting to fighting heavyweights....because it is unfair.

The fact a man, who still looks like a man, is built like a man and performs like a man can compete in womens sports is pathetic.

There are men who transition very early and 'look' like women. It these cases a person is losing so they decide that best thing to do it become a woman????

this is like each year we have parents in baseball who want their kids to play 'down' in a league they are ready to age out of. Yeah, I need a 16 year old throwing 85 in a 15U league where 12U kids can play up. Nope. It is uneven and not fair to anyone.

This woman should be ashamed of themselves. The girls who have worked their asses off to get to a point to then be beat by a man????

To me it seems that a large majority of women support trans people so if they don’t care let them beat the crap out of them for all I care.

I don’t like women’s sports anyway so who cares. Small girls can play with the boys in early years and later they can move on. Just get rid of women’s sports. Best athletes play.

You would be surprised by how many rational women understand what is going on and dont support it one bit. Problem is, like all conservative voices, we are censored by the left who holds a large megaphone.

The gen-stupid fems that were initially for this nonsense, are still in their unicorn phase. They will outgrow it soon enough.

There’s really no defending this as fair for all the reasons already discussed here. What I wonder is how does this delusional behavior on the part of the trans girl do Anything to promote empathy for their cause ? How does someone with such a complete lack of self awareness have ANY idea on what sex they should be, operating from a completely Selfish POV ?

Played team volleyball in H.S., wasn’t good enough to make college team, but played inter mural team for fun.

Had my finger broken blocking a man spiking at the net, Never felt force like that playing with only girls , ouch !

All for equality, but equity is better I understand this will come across as trans biased. Shirley we could have a A-sexual sports league and championships that any one can compete in male, female, trans sexual/racial/alien or trans unicorn can compete in one league. It would market well and be amusing to watch.

It would be nice to be *those* parents. At tae kwon do, kids compete in the division they will age into by December of that year. Our kid's b-day is in October, so right now he is a veritable shrimp in his division because he ages up by 2 months. He has to learn those are the breaks and really focus when practices against the older and taller kids.

Yeah, this is how baseball works also in fall. Age as of next June. So we have 12 year olds going into the 15U division and it is overwhelming.

Like you said the only good thing is they get better and work harder but it would be nice when at the top they could have a good year.

We have them now. It’s any men’s league out there. If you are the best you play. Trans people and women aren’t there because they are not the best. Trans people compete with women because it gives them an advantage. Pretty much across the board the worlds best women athletes are on par with jr high or high school males. Trans people know that even though they are average at best they can excel against women.

I don’t like women’s sports because they are just not that good. Sports should be pure and all about who is the best. Damn near every woman’s sport out there bar a few are propped up by there men’s counterparts. Let those trans people compete against the men and this will be over with the quickness.

What is wrong with those in charge of USA sports leagues?

Women's sports advocates are speaking out against the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and its rules on transgender student athlete participation ahead of the NCAA Championships this March, warning that the future of women’s sports is in danger if transgender swimmer Lia Thomas of the University of Pennsylvania is allowed to keep competing on the women’s team.

The Ivy League and University of Pennsylvania both released statements last week defending Thomas, who has been shattering records in women’s swimming ever since she was allowed to switch from the men’s to the women’s team under NCAA rules after undergoing testosterone suppression treatment.

Here in the US there is a growing trend to have trans males join regular women's teams. There has been controversy.

You’ve heard the expression, “Boys will be boys.” But what happens when a brawny boy wants to be one of the girls – fiercely competing with females in weightlifting, brutally tackling girls on the football field or even dealing powerful knockout punches to ladies in a mixed martial-arts cage?

It’s now happening across America and around the world

With trans men joining women in the field of sports, an odd thing is happening. The trans men are dominating a bunch of sports. So the movement of equality is now turned into a paradox, the gender gap in sports cannot be erased, but we must be fair.

TextBiological males are joining women’s teams, smashing records and dominating in sports such as weightlifting, softball, cycling, track, wrestling, football, volleyball, dodgeball, handball, cricket, golf, basketball and mixed martial arts.

The movement for “equality” has apparently inspired transgender athletes to join teams of their preferred gender. And that often means biological males are competing against biological females on women’s teams. But in the world of sports, critics argue, equality between the sexes simply doesn’t exist. Physiologically speaking, there’s a gender gap between men and women that cannot be erased.

Men have longer and larger bones, giving men mechanical advantages over women. Muscles, being taller, larger frames, tougher ligaments all give men an advantage over women when it comes to sports. So is it fair with men who have larger lungs, hearts, greater strength and acceleration even fair to have them on the same field as women?

On average, men have longer and larger bones, which gives them mechanical advantages over women, since they have greater leverage, increased height and larger frames to support muscle. Their bones are also more dense, and they have tougher ligaments, making them less prone to sports injury.

Since these physical and physiological factors give most men a clear competitive edge in sports, is it fair or even safe for biological males – with larger muscle mass, hearts and lungs and greater strength, acceleration and speed – to compete against girls and women?

NCAA Update

The NCAA changed its policy regarding transgender athletes, it announced Wednesday.

The new approach to allowing transgender athletes will follow a sport-by-sport model similarly adopted by the U.S. and international Olympic committees, Sports Illustrated reported.

"We are steadfast in our support of transgender student-athletes and the fostering of fairness across college sports," John DeGioia, Georgetown University's president and the NCAA board's chairman, said in a statement Wednesday, announcing the change.

The new policy is effective immediately.
