and it wasn't till Aug. 1974 that Nixon resigned....
and, I'm sorry, but I kind of find it hard to see the down and out refugees that are allowed in the country as big of a threat as the soviet union was
in it's time when both countries had enough nukes pointed at each other to wipe the earth of all life multiple times over..
the way we worship?? really, we were founded with the principle that we all should be able to worship as we saw fit... the fact that they worshipped
differently didn't stop us from importing a bunch of animist and islamic slaves from africa, or did it stop us from letting a bunch of budhist chinese
from coming in.... hey they were just more to exploit for cheap or free labor!! now, all of a sudden it is bothering the masses?
no, what is bothering the masses is that the US is at the end of it's economic dominance and, it's starting to hurt them. but instead of recognizing
the mistakes that they made in the past, they would prefer to blame small groups of the most defenseless. we went decades not caring about the masses
that crossed our southern border, we were happy to exploit them, we ignored those who complained about the influx driving down their wages. it wasn't
that long ago when the offshoring was being touted as being good for our economy, I am sure you remember Marg... everything was just grand as long as
they themselves were profiting by the bogus economy that was manipulated by the powers that be so that just enough of the masses were kept happy...
and who cared about the few who were being left in the dust...
they were lazy, uneducated, they should pick themselves up by the boot straps and continue on, right? those at the upper ranks of both the dems and
the republicans are two sides of the danged same coin, each playing their role according to the same script of the same play.... it's a play that has
been played out since the beginning of time, the rise, and the fall of empires and somehow, the spectators never catch on till it's too late.
