Potential 'smoking gun' showing Obama administration spied on Trump team, source says

Well this could be interesting....

Republican congressional investigators expect a potential “smoking gun” establishing that the Obama administration spied on the Trump transition team, and possibly the president-elect himself, will be produced to the House Intelligence Committee this week, a source told Fox News.

Classified intelligence showing incidental collection of Trump team communications, purportedly seen by committee Chairman Devin Nunes, R-Calif., and described by him in vague terms at a bombshell Wednesday afternoon news conference, came from multiple sources, Capitol Hill sources told Fox News.

The intelligence corroborated information about surveillance of the Trump team that was known to Nunes, sources said, even before President Trump accused his predecessor of having wiretappedhim in a series of now-infamous tweets posted on March 4.

The intelligence is said to leave no doubt the Obama administration, in its closing days, was using the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump, according to sources.

So I don't normally quote stories with "sources", but this one seems like it is genuine just from the actual meat of the story.

Anywho..I look forward to seeing how this particular piece of the puzzle plays out.

The fact is that the Trump campaign team has been under investigation by the secret services since at least July and probably longer, and is ongoing. That leaves no doubt that Trump Tower has been under observation. Nunes on Monday tried to have the record changed in regard to what happened at the Republican platform in July, when he alleged that the stance was changed to increase help to Ukraine, rather than what actually happened which was a softening of approach to Russia. Schiff was having none of that and stated that witnessess who were there had been interviewed to cofirm that. Nunes in the meantime, (lately) appears to have come into possesion of some documents that comfirm surveillance on Trump Tower, which he did not share on the committee he is sitting, nor did he tell them, but instead ran to the White House with the info. Schiff is not best pleased along with the other members, especially since the investigation continues. In any case I don't see what Nunes point is, since Trump seems to have the same information, except that he put a spin on with, "My wires" the only thing that can be ascertained so far is that any FISA's would have been sought by the DOJ at the request of any or all concerned, of the secret services.
