The EU will not last forever, why are some Scots so desperate to remain in it?

By the time Brexit happens and Scotland gets its referendum the EU will be weaker... they will be desperate to join a club that other nations will be desperate to leave.

over 60% voted to stay in europe in Scotland. one of the main selling points of the remain camp at the scottish referendum was that Scotland's only chance to remain in the EU wa to vote to stay part of the UK..Another lie..As for the Pound, i dont really care if we use it or not, considering it's on it's arse.. i would prefer the Euro though. There is nothing stopping Scotland from using the pound if we so wish. That's the beauty of the game..any country can use whatever currency it chooses.

You forget there are a lot of Scots living in England who's votes would have

been counted in with the English vote

I wish I shared your optimism about us leaving the UK mate, I think Darth May will do everything in her power to stop us. I also think leaving the UK under May will be tougher than under Cameron.

On a plus side, there was an Italian Journalist on the News last night saying that Britain are gonna be delt a rough hand for wanting to leave the EU and that Scotland would be given a warm welcome if it became independent and wanted to become an EU Member. I believe she said it would be easy for Scotland to retain membership...
