Everything takes too long. Getting way frustrating.

Is it internal or external?

I've been having it happen off and on all day.
I don't know why it is happening.....but it happened on my PC as well as my Kindle.

About this time of night or in a particularly active thread, I have to watch the spinning circle after hitting enter after posting. And just MUST wait, as hitting enter more than once causes duplicate posts.

Let me go down in the subbasement here at Langley and give the server a kick.

I browse ATS on my Note 4, unless a post calls for a heated exchange, I'll use a PC.

I just thought it was my internet. Maybe its the CIA activating all ita cyber powers, slowing the internetz...

I was going to reply to this thread, but then I fell asleep and forgot why I came here.

I kid, I kid! At least ATS is free. There's that!

I was looking at a thread on my phone earlier today and I clicked the 'next page' button and all of a sudden I got two pop-up pages in my browser saying my phone was infected with a virus. My phone's anti-virus never kicked in, but the pages made my phone vibrate so I closed them and did a scan... everything is fine now, but still weirded the hell out of me. Never had that happen before on this site...

I think it's external. I'm having problems on my android. Not just ats, but all web pages. To get a page to load, I have to minimize the screen.

I'm also having problems with the Pinterest app.

I'm not having this issue on my Facebook app.

Its been happening all afternoon. I've rebooted a few times. Wifi signal is strong when I check phone settings and throughout my house.

However it shows up as weak on the phone status bar.

It's still getting worse a day later. Really slow. I think the last time this happened on an off for a while then there was a ddos attack. I've also gotten a couple malware threat warnings recently which is highly unusual.

I was actually wondering if this might be why....

When Amazon's cloud storage fails, lots of people get wet

...Amazon Web Services, by far the world's largest provider of internet-based computing services, suffered an unspecified breakdown in its eastern U.S. region starting about midday Tuesday. The result: unprecedented and widespread performance problems for thousands of websites and apps.

...The breakdown shows the risks of depending heavily on a few big companies for cloud computing. Amazon's service is significantly larger by revenue than any of its nearest rivals -- Microsoft's Azure, Google's Cloud Platform and IBM, according to Forrester Research.
