You shouldn't, but many of the left do. They take it as time to declare open season on all people who are affiliated with said groups even loosely, and I think that's the point.

Phrase would have meant exactly the same thing if you deleted "of the left" ... and would probably be more accurate.

Hence how dumb hate crimes are. If the judicial bench is showing bias how about cleaning house there instead of stacking up laws with even more subjectivity.

However, maybe that is impossible by human nature so maybe I am full of it.

I think what happened to Palestine is exactly what happened to the Native Americans... and is still happening. It may be too late, like it is here to 'give it back' but it isn't too late for a two State solution.
